What This Night Is
This is not a quiet art class. It is a Paint Juicy session. Expect big energy, great music, singalong moments and a room full of people laughing at their canvases by the second hour.
The host guides every brushstroke on the mic. The playlist runs from the opening track to the last detail on the canvas. Natural breaks between layers give everyone time to grab a drink, take photos and catch their breath before the next singalong moment hits.
If you are looking for a proper night out that is a little bit different, this is your sign. Dress ups are welcomed. Arrive early and settle in before painting starts.
Tonight's Artwork
Wattle Crown Koala
Australia's fluffiest rock fan takes centre stage in a soft, painterly portrait. The koala sits front and centre in grey and lavender tones, a crown of golden wattle flowers sitting on its head in the perfect nod to the Aussie Rock theme. The background fades in loose, warm tones that frame the subject beautifully. The fur is built up in layers of short, confident brushstrokes that create wonderful texture. This is a painting that looks genuinely impressive on a wall - guests consistently cannot believe they painted it themselves.

"A debut for me. It was so well organised, the singer was so good and very entertaining as were the two guys. Great safe venue, no judgement - everyone had a ball and unleashed their inner artist. Fabulous night."

Before You Arrive
Arrive a few minutes early. The venue has food and drinks available — bar at venue. Get settled in, grab a drink and find your seat before painting starts.
Wear clothes you do not mind painting in. We supply aprons but acrylic paint is enthusiastic and occasionally ambitious.
Dress ups are absolutely welcomed. Theme-appropriate gear always gets a big reaction from the room.
Tickets are online only. They are not sold at the door. If you have not bought yours yet, do it now before the session fills.
Buying this as a gift? We have gift cards that never expire.
🎁 Buy a Gift CardHow the Night Runs

Host kicks off with the playlist locked in and painting begins step by step from blank canvas.
Natural breaks for top-ups, photos and singalong moments throughout the session.
Final details, group photo, canvas wrapped. You leave with something worth hanging and a story worth telling.
FAQs
Do I need painting experience?
Not at all. We guide every step from blank canvas to finished painting. If you last painted in Year 8 art class you are overqualified.
Is singing optional?
Technically yes. Realistically you will not resist. Expect call and response moments and choruses you forgot you knew every word to.
Is this good for a hens or birthday group?
Absolutely. Paint Juicy is one of the most popular hens and birthday activities on the circuit. Add a note at checkout if you are celebrating and we will give the guest of honour a shout out on the night.
Can I come alone?
Yes. Many people do. We seat you with other friendly humans so you are part of the fun from the first song.
Can groups who book separately sit together?
Yes. Add a note at checkout with the name of your group and we will seat you together.
Where do I buy tickets?
Right here on the Paint Juicy website. Tickets are not sold at the door. Secure your spot before it sells out.
Want a private session instead?
We run private paint and sip sessions for hens nights, birthdays and work groups. Minimum 10 guests. Enquire here.

What Makes a Paint Juicy Private Event Different
A private paint and sip is your group, your venue, your playlist and your vibe from start to finish. Nobody shares the room with strangers. Nobody sits next to someone they did not invite. The whole session is built around your occasion, your artwork choice and the people you chose to be there. That is the difference between a public session and a private booking, and it matters more than most people realise until they experience it.
Paint Juicy private events work because the format takes all the pressure off the organiser. You submit the enquiry, we handle everything else. We arrive early, set up every canvas, easel, paint palette and apron, host the whole session on mic and pack down at the end. The singalong moments and games are built in. The energy runs itself. The person who booked it gets to be a guest at their own event instead of managing it from the moment everyone walks in.
We have run private paint and sip sessions for hens nights, milestone birthdays, corporate team building, work Christmas parties, baby showers, bridal showers, fundraisers, school reunions and everything in between. If you have a group of people you want to bring together and an occasion worth celebrating, Paint Juicy has a format that fits. All you need is ten people and a date.

How Much Does a Private Paint and Sip Cost?
All Paint Juicy private bookings use the same simple pricing structure. A flat rate covers your first ten guests, then a per-person rate applies after that. No venue hire charged on top. No hidden fees for setup, pack down or the host. What you see is what you pay.
First 10 Guests
Flat rate for the full session, all equipment, complete setup and pack down, and your hosted artist for the night. Minimum booking is 10 paid seats for all private events.
Each Additional Guest
Per person after your first 10. Scales simply whether your group is 15 or 60. Add-ons are quoted separately when you enquire.
Groups smaller than 10 are welcome to join one of our public paint and sip sessions running regularly across QLD, NSW and NT. Public sessions start from $59 per person and your group still sits together. Custom artwork designs incur an additional quoted fee.
Optional Add-Ons for Private Bookings
Mention any of these when you enquire and we will build them into your session.
Private Paint and Sip FAQs
What occasions can I book a private paint and sip for?
Paint Juicy runs private paint and sip sessions for hens nights, birthday parties, corporate team building, work Christmas parties, baby showers, bridal showers, school reunions, fundraisers, engagement parties, retirement parties, divorce parties, girls nights out and more. If you have a group and an occasion, we have a format that works. The session is shaped around your event, your artwork choice and your singalong era from start to finish.
How many people do we need for a private booking?
The minimum for any private paint and sip booking is 10 paid guests. That is the number that makes a private session viable and the number where the energy in the room really starts. Groups smaller than 10 are welcome to join one of our public sessions running regularly across QLD, NSW and NT, where your group still sits together and enjoys the same full Paint Juicy experience alongside other guests.
Do guests need any painting experience?
Zero. Paint Juicy private sessions are built for people who think they cannot paint, which is almost everyone, and they always leave completely shocked at what they made. Your artist guides every single step on the mic from the first brushstroke to the finishing touches. No experience, no skill level and no prior art knowledge is required. That is the whole design of the format.
Can we choose our own painting design?
Yes. Choose from the existing Paint Juicy artwork catalogue at no extra charge, or request a completely custom design for an additional fee that is quoted when you enquire. Custom designs take extra prep time to develop into a step-by-step guide the artist can teach on the night, so the earlier you ask the better. Popular for milestone birthdays, corporate events and any occasion where the artwork itself is part of the moment.
Where do you host private paint and sip sessions?
Paint Juicy is 100% mobile. We come to your chosen venue, whether that is your home, office, backyard, a hired function room, a licensed bar, a bowls club or anywhere else your group wants to be. We cover the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Toowoomba, Coffs Harbour, Darwin and more across QLD, NSW and NT. If you need help finding a venue, just mention it when you enquire and we will point you in the right direction.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
It depends on the venue. Paint Juicy runs sessions at BYO-friendly spaces, licensed venues, private homes and function rooms. When you enquire, let us know your venue preference or whether you need help finding one, and we will match you with an option that suits your group and your drinks situation. For home bookings, BYO food and drink is always welcome subject to the usual property rules.
What is the deposit and payment process?
A deposit of $300 secures your date and time slot and is due within two business days of receiving your invoice. The final balance is due 45 days before the event. From 45 days out, the deposit and any final payment become non-refundable. Rescheduling within 45 days of the event will result in the loss of your deposit. Full booking and cancellation terms are available on our Booking and Attendance Terms page.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as possible, especially for weekend dates and peak periods like summer, Christmas and the lead-up to school holidays when private bookings stack up. Most private events lock in six to ten weeks out. Hens nights and milestone birthday bookings often come in further ahead than that. If your date is coming up soon, always worth enquiring - we will confirm availability quickly and work with you where we can.
Paint Juicy events are designed to be vibrant and high-energy. Depending on the venue, the session may include louder music, microphones, amplified sound, and party-style lighting. Not every venue is the same. Some locations have minimal effects, while others may use stage-style lighting, including flashing or strobe-style effects, lasers, and bright LED lighting.
These conditions may not be suitable for all guests, including (without limitation) those with photosensitive epilepsy or seizure risk, sensory sensitivities (including autism-related sensitivities), migraines triggered by light or sound, PTSD/anxiety triggers, hearing sensitivities or hearing impairment, and other medical or neurological conditions.
If you have any concerns, you must contact us before booking so we can advise on the expected setup for that venue and consider reasonable adjustments where practicable (including seating requests). However, due to venue setup, venue policies, safety requirements, and circumstances outside our control, we cannot guarantee the elimination or absence of any lighting effects, sound levels, crowd noise, or other triggers.
By booking and/or attending, you acknowledge and accept that exposure to light and sound conditions may occur and you attend at your own risk. Nothing in this warning is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws that cannot be excluded.
If you are making a booking on behalf of others, these terms apply to everyone attending. It is your responsibility to inform your guests of these terms.
Most of our customers are absolute legends. A very small number have caused serious damage, crossed boundaries, or behaved in a way that is not acceptable in a public venue. These terms exist to protect our team, the venue, performers, and the experience for everyone else. It is these actions that we have to have these terms and conditions and that's a big poo poo to them. Let us normal people have a great time!
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws that cannot be excluded.
Sound and light sensitivity warning
Some venues may use bright or flashing lighting and louder music. If you have any light or sound sensitivities (including photosensitive epilepsy, sensory sensitivities, migraines, PTSD/anxiety triggers, or hearing sensitivity), please review our Sound and Light Sensitivity Warning before booking.
Accessibility and mobility requirements
Paint Juicy aims to make our events as accessible and inclusive as reasonably possible. We welcome guests with mobility requirements and disabilities and we will always do what we reasonably can to support access, seating, and participation.
However, event accessibility varies between venues. Many of our events take place in partner venues such as clubs, hotels, bars, and function spaces. Some venues are older buildings or have fixed layouts, heritage constraints, stairs, narrow walkways, uneven surfaces, limited accessible toilets, limited lift access, or restricted entry points. Because we do not own or control these venues, we cannot guarantee that every venue will be fully wheelchair-accessible or step-free.
Here are the details: https://www.paintjuicy.com.au/pages/accessibility-at-paint-juicy
Before you book
If you or someone in your group has any mobility requirements, uses a wheelchair, walker, cane, or has difficulty with stairs, standing, or navigating crowded spaces, you must contact us before booking so we can:
- confirm the venue’s current access details where available
- advise the most suitable entry point, seating area, and arrival time
- request reasonable seating adjustments where practicable
- recommend an alternative session or venue where a more suitable option exists
Accessibility features that may vary by venue include (without limitation):
- step-free entry and internal access
- ramps and handrails
- lift access
- aisle width and turning space for wheelchairs
- accessible toilets
- accessible parking proximity
- seating height and stability
- crowd density and ability to move between tables
- proximity to exits, bathrooms, and quieter areas
On the day
Where possible, we recommend arriving early so we can assist with seating and access. In some venues, staff may need to direct you to specific entry points due to safety, crowd control, or venue policy.
Limitations and responsibility
While we will make reasonable efforts to assist, we cannot guarantee full accessibility at all venues due to:
- venue design, age, heritage constraints, or fixed layout
- venue policies and staffing
- safety requirements and emergency egress rules
- circumstances outside our control (including last-minute room changes or venue operational decisions)
If accessible entry, seating, or facilities are essential to your attendance, you must contact us before booking. If we cannot reasonably confirm suitable access for the chosen venue, you may prefer to select an alternative venue or date.
Our commitment
We are actively working towards partnering only with venues that are step-friendly and wheelchair accessible wherever possible. Until that is achievable across all locations, we encourage guests to check access requirements with us in advance so we can help you choose the best option available.
Nothing in this section is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws that cannot be excluded.
