So take your Fish and Chips experience to the next level by creating a great balance by following this guide!

Fish and Chips

The classic seaside dish of Fish and Chips is a beautiful crispy, deep-fried dish complimented by a great sauce! So go for a wine that has great acidity to create balance with the fried dish! We suggest getting a glass of zesty, and palette cleansing Semillon, dry and semi-sweet Riesling, or a flowery and peachy Sauvignon Blanc.

Potato Scallops

Who doesn’t love potato scallops?? It’s rich, creamy, fluffy, and just oh so awesome! The creaminess of this dish is best paired with a rich and textural wine to be able to bring the flavours out of the potatoes! So pair this with a dry white wine like Chardonnay, fruity white wine like Verdelho, or nutty, fruity, and rich Fiano!

Crab Cakes

Crabcakes are oh so flavourful! The tasty crab meat and the spices it goes along with creates a richness in the dish! So, you can balance it with a glass of fresh and fruity Rosé, light, crisp, and dry Pinot Grigio, or dry and snappy Vermentino.

Calamari Rings

One of our absolute favourites! Calamari Rings are a huge menu favourite because it doesn’t just taste good, it is also crispy, chewy, and just oh so yum! To get the best out of calamari, it’s always a great idea to pair it with an acidic wine to cut off the fat! Go for a glass of naturally fruity Riesling, off-dried and full-bodied Semillon, or dry and crisp Sauvignon Blanc.

Prawn Cutlets

Fresh Prawn Cutlets is one of those dishes you won’t get tired of! The very fresh taste of prawns is enough to get you addicted! A Crisp, fresh and fruity Rosé, light, crisp, and dry Pinot Grigio, or bright with fresh acidity Vermentino, these options will surely bring out more of the flavours of this dish!

Pineapple Fritters

In love with Pineapple Fritters? So are we! This sweet, and yummy dish is best paired with a fruity wine similar to Verdelho, Chardonnay, or Fiano!
