Cultural lovers unite, meet the hottest Arts Centre to grace the Gold Coast HOTA

If you’re a fellow creative local and haven’t checked out the vibrant as ever Home Of The Arts (HOTA) yet, we think you need to make a day for it - on the 16th of May specifically! Here’s why:
This is a truly spectacular cultural abode where art meets life. Experience magnificent performances such as live music, ballet, comedy shows, cinema and more on stages both inside and out - don’t forget to pop in for a bite at HOTA café during Cinema sessions and show times.
The highly anticipated Gallery at HOTA will officially open its doors on the 8th of May for it’s first ever sold out free exhibition ‘Solid Gold: Artists From Paradise’ which you’re definitely going to want to take a peak at (Psst! Tickets are available on the HOTA website for the 16th of May!). After a few hours of discovering inspiring artwork, travel up to level 5 and pop into The Exhibitionist Bar opening on the 15th of May with a spectacular view of the ocean and hinterland only one can imagine (again, you’re welcome for the date suggestion!).
To top it off, on Sunday’s from 6am until 11:30am they even hold the Bundall Farmers Markets on the lawn featuring live music, oodles of fresh local produce, coffee and sweets galore, gourmet cheeses, bouquets of flowers and so much more - be sure to bring your reusable grocery bags! Grab some lunch, relax by the Evandale Lake and if the kids come too, there’s also a children’s playground onsite.
Yes, the 16th of May happens to be a Sunday so you can check out literally everything that’s been listed in this blog. Wins all round!
P.S, they’re open 7 days a week so if Sunday isn’t your jam that’s totally sweet.
