Top Things To Do in Burleigh Heads 2021

What better way to spend your day than by venturing around the magnificent Burleigh Heads with your besties? If you’re in need of a little inspiration on things to do around Burleigh Heads, here’s our top picks to do in our beautiful Burls:
BBQ Bazaar (Burleigh Heads Night Markets)
Heads up - If you’re into the night scene and live tunes, then this ones for you. Located in the industrial back roads of Burleigh lies none other than BBQ bazaar. A night market featuring a huge warehouse ft. bar, food stalls and live music from local or nation wide artists to have a boogie to with all your friends. Each food stall here serves an array of freshly made deliciousness too good to pass up - think barbecued meats, bao, poke bowls, sweet desserts and so much more (drools!). Bonus, there’s plenty of seating both inside and outside the warehouse, so no need to worry. Operating just for you every Friday and Saturday night and other nights during the week.
The Village Markets, Burleigh Heads
A Sunday morning spent in sunshine, browsing boutique stalls, food vans, quality coffee in hand whilst listening to a talented local musician sounds perfect doesn’t it? Well, you can make this your reality every first and third Sunday of the month by popping into The Village Markets, a little local creative community market held at Burleigh Heads State School. When visiting make sure to take along with you a big bag to fit all your preloved / designer vintage rack sale purchases inside and a picnic rug to sit and listen to some sweet tunes + a few good mates. We recommend dressing super cute incase you get snapped by the TVM photography crew venturing around and also trying a Lángos from the Hungarian Food Factory - a truly scrumptious sensory sensation (you’re welcome!).
Paint Juicy - Paint and Sip Burleigh Heads
We can mention ourselves in a blog like this right? Because we truly mean it when we say we’re here to serve you up a fabulous time. If you’re after something fun, fresh and creative to do with friends, then Paint Juicy is your go to. We’re a Paint and Sip but with some extra fabulous themed nights with playlists from the 80s, 90s, Britney, Kylie, Boy Bands, Disco, Rock and One Hit Wonders + more sometimes featuring drag queens, oh and we also encourage each attendee to dress up accordingly. We’re BYO bubbles and a whole lotta togetherness + fun.
James Street, Burleigh Heads
If you and your friends are foodie fans + love little boutique shopping by the seashore, then travelling down James Street is a must. Pop into an array of shops from stunning jewellery and clothing store Emte, a delicious deli featuring European goodies called Golsoi Emporium and browse through Cedar & Stone’s assorted store featuring skincare, makeup, candles and so much more. Make sure to head into Social Brew for a bite to eat and a Chai Latte surrounded by stunning greenery or any other cafe quite frankly then venture down to the beach for a dip in the icy blue ocean. Weekend = sorted.
Picnic on Burleigh Hill
Okay so we had to say it, a picnic on Burleigh Hill. Why not with a view like that? Whether you’re spending a Sunday sunset sesh with a group of besties over curated cheese boards or a romantic date under the stars, Burleigh Hill is your ultimate by the sea picnic destination and all the locals know it - so make sure to get there as early as possible!
And that’s a wrap! We could say SO many more places to venture but we’ll leave it at 5 must see Burleigh Heads places… for now! Stay tuned for so much more.
