What This Afternoon Is
This is not your average paint and sip. It is a full afternoon out with three things happening in sequence: guided painting with 80s and 90s singalongs, bottomless nachos and drinks throughout, and then one round of mini golf at Holey Moley when brushes go down.
The painting session is led by a Paint Juicy host artist who guides every step on the mic - from the first brushstroke to the finishing details. The 80s and 90s playlist runs the whole way through and the room gets loud quickly. Between painting layers there are quick quizzes with prizes that keep the energy high while paint dries.
When painting wraps, Holey Moley staff lead the group through to the course for one full round of mini golf. You leave with a finished canvas, a full stomach, a wristband tan line and a genuinely good afternoon on the record.

★★★★★ Real Guest
"We had the best time at the bottomless paint and sip at Holey Moley. The host was spectacular, the atmosphere was relaxed and the instructions made it easy for everyone to create something they were proud of. The music selection was also spot on for the vibe!"

Yes. Non-alcoholic beer, non-alcoholic sauvignon blanc, soft drink and juices are all included in the bottomless package.

★★★★★ Real Guest
"The bottomless drinks and food kept the energy high while we painted. The perfect mix of creativity, socialness and a little bit of chaos in the best possible way. It didn't feel rushed at all and the Holey Moley mini golf after was a great finishing touch. Such great value. Highly recommend."

Venue
Holey Moley Golf Club
25 Warner Street, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006
Paint Juicy is built on one simple idea: people deserve a fun night out that feels welcoming, safe, and easy to join.
And when we say people, we mean everyone.
Accessibility matters. Not as a tick-box. Not as a "special request." As a normal, everyday part of hospitality and events. The reality across Australia is that not every venue is designed for step-free access, wheelchair movement, or easy, dignified navigation once a room fills up. But that does not mean we shrug and move on. It means we plan harder, ask better questions, and keep pushing for better partnerships.
This page explains how accessibility works across our touring events, what we do to support guests with mobility, medical, sensory, sound and light needs, and how you can book with confidence.
What accessibility means in real life at events
Accessibility can mean different things to different people. For some guests it is about wheelchair access and turning space. For others it is about avoiding stairs, needing stable seating, having a shorter distance to toilets, being able to move safely through a busy room, or feeling okay with the lighting and sound in the room.
We take all of the following seriously, and we want guests to feel comfortable asking the question before booking.
Mobility needs may include (without limitation):
- Wheelchair users
- Guests using walkers, canes, crutches or mobility aids
- Guests with injuries, chronic pain, fatigue, or conditions that make stairs or long distances difficult
- Older guests who need step-friendly access and stable seating
- Guests who need a clear path to bathrooms or exits
Sensory, sound and light needs may include (without limitation):
- Photosensitive epilepsy or seizure risk
- Sensory sensitivities, including autism-related sensitivities
- Migraines triggered by light or sound
- PTSD or anxiety triggers
- Hearing sensitivities or hearing impairment
- Any other medical or neurological condition affected by lighting, noise levels or crowd density
Why accessibility varies by venue
Paint Juicy events are held in partnership with venues such as clubs, hotels, bars, function rooms, community spaces, and event venues. Some are modern buildings with step-free entry, wide walkways, and accessible toilets. Some are older buildings with fixed layouts, narrow corridors, steps at entry points, or limited internal access.
Because we do not own the venue, accessibility is not something we can fully control. What we can control is how we select venues, how we check access details, how we plan the room, and how we communicate with guests.
Why we sometimes partner with venues that have limitations
We want to be transparent, because people deserve the truth without the runaround.
In some towns, we reach out to multiple venues before we can lock in a date. The most accessible spaces are often in high demand, already committed to regular programming, or simply not available for touring events on the nights we need. When that happens, we partner with the best available venue so we can still bring Paint Juicy to the community, while continuing to prioritise more accessible options as they become available.
We do not take that lightly. We know that for some guests, venue limitations are not a minor inconvenience. They are the difference between attending and missing out. That is exactly why we are strengthening our process and building better venue options over time.
What we are doing to improve accessibility
This is not a "we care" paragraph. This is the practical work.
1. Stronger venue accessibility checks
We are tightening the questions we ask venues so we can give clearer, more accurate information before you book.
We check, where possible:
- Step-free entry from street or car park
- Step-free internal access to the event room
- Whether wheelchair seating can be reserved without blocking emergency exits
- Aisle width and turning space once tables are set
- Accessible toilet availability and step-free path to it
- Accessible parking or safe drop-off options
- Whether the venue uses stage-style lighting, flashing or strobe effects
- Expected sound and music levels during the session
- Any venue restrictions that affect movement or seating
2. Better seating planning on the night
If we know your needs in advance, we can plan for them properly instead of trying to solve it when the room is full.
Depending on venue layout, we may be able to:
- Seat you with more space for comfort and movement
- Seat you closer to entry points
- Seat you away from bottlenecks and high-traffic walkways
- Seat you away from speakers if you have hearing sensitivities
- Seat you away from stage-style lighting or strobe zones if you are photosensitive
- Assist with the most practical route to seating and bathrooms
3. Prioritising fully accessible venues where possible
We are actively endeavouring to partner only with venues that are wheelchair accessible and step-friendly. That is the direction we are moving in. The more a venue can offer step-free access, room layout flexibility and proper facilities, the higher it goes on our preferred list for return events.
4. Clearer communication before bookings
We are also making sure our pages and team messaging make it easier for people to ask the question early. You should not have to guess, and you should not have to feel awkward asking.
Sound, lighting and sensory considerations
Paint Juicy events are designed to be vibrant and high-energy. Depending on the venue, the session may include louder music, microphones, amplified sound, and party-style lighting. Not every venue is the same. Some locations have minimal effects, while others may use stage-style lighting, including flashing or strobe-style effects, lasers, and bright LED lighting.
These conditions may not be suitable for all guests, including (without limitation) those with photosensitive epilepsy or seizure risk, sensory sensitivities (including autism-related sensitivities), migraines triggered by light or sound, PTSD or anxiety triggers, hearing sensitivities or hearing impairment, and other medical or neurological conditions.
If you have any concerns, you must contact us before booking so we can advise on the expected setup for that venue and consider reasonable adjustments where practicable, including seating requests. However, due to venue setup, venue policies, safety requirements, and circumstances outside our control, we cannot guarantee the elimination or absence of any lighting effects, sound levels, crowd noise, or other triggers.
By booking and attending, you acknowledge and accept that exposure to light and sound conditions may occur and you attend at your own risk.
What we need from you (so we can help properly)
If you or someone in your group has mobility requirements, sensory needs, or any condition that may be affected by the session setup, please contact us before booking whenever possible.
This includes:
- Wheelchair users
- Guests who cannot manage stairs
- Guests using mobility aids
- Guests who need stable seating or extra space
- Guests who need quick access to toilets or exits
- Guests with photosensitive epilepsy or seizure risk
- Guests with sensory, sound or light sensitivities
- Guests with hearing impairments or sensitivities
Send us:
- The venue and town you are looking at
- The date (if known)
- What you need (step-free entry, wheelchair seating, toilet access, room space, distance from speakers, avoidance of strobe zones, etc.)
We will confirm what we can with the venue and give you the clearest expectation possible before you commit.
What we can and cannot guarantee
We will always make reasonable efforts to support access and sensory needs, but we cannot guarantee:
- Step-free access at every venue
- That a venue has accessible toilets or that they are practical to reach during a busy event
- That a room layout will allow unlimited wheelchair bays without affecting emergency egress
- The complete removal of access barriers at older venues with fixed layouts
- The absence of flashing lights, strobe effects, lasers or bright LEDs at any given venue
- A specific sound level, since venues and live sessions vary
This is exactly why contacting us before booking matters. If we know early, we can advise you better and help you choose the most suitable option.
A note for venues, councils and community spaces
If you operate a venue or community space that is step-free, wheelchair accessible, and able to reserve wheelchair seating without drama, we want to work with you.
We are looking for venues that can offer:
- Step-free entry and internal access
- Accessible toilets
- Room layouts with flexible seating plans
- Clear, safe wheelchair seating that does not block exits
- Flexibility on lighting setup where it helps sensory-sensitive guests
- A team willing to work with us to make events welcoming and practical
If we have not spoken with you, please reach out. We are actively building venue partnerships that support accessible events, and we would love to bring Paint Juicy to more communities in a way that works for everyone.
Frequently asked questions
Can you confirm whether a venue is wheelchair accessible?
In many cases, yes. If you message us with the venue and date, we can confirm access details where available and advise what is realistic for that space.
Can you reserve wheelchair seating?
Often yes, depending on the venue layout and safety requirements. It is much easier to do this when we know in advance.
What if I cannot do stairs?
Contact us before booking so we can confirm if the venue has step-free entry and internal access, or recommend a more suitable location.
Do you offer accessible toilets at every venue?
Not every venue has accessible toilets. Some do, some do not, and in some older venues access can be limited. We will confirm what we can before you book.
Do your events use strobes or flashing lights?
Some venues use stage-style lighting including flashing or strobe effects. Others have minimal effects. If you are photosensitive or affected by specific lighting, contact us before booking and we will advise what to expect at the venue and arrange seating away from lighting zones where possible.
How loud are the sessions?
Sessions are vibrant and high-energy with amplified music and microphones. If you have hearing sensitivities or a hearing impairment, contact us before booking and we will discuss seating options, including seating further from speakers where the venue allows.
What if the venue is not suitable for my needs?
If we cannot reasonably confirm suitable access or a safe sensory setup, we will recommend an alternative session or venue where possible.

These Booking and Attendance Terms apply to everyone who books, purchases or attends a Paint Juicy event, whether a public session or a private booking. If you are booking on behalf of others, these terms apply to everyone attending and it is your responsibility to inform your guests of these terms before the event.
Paint Juicy is a trading name of Entertainment Juicy IP Pty Ltd (ABN 33 657 295 139).
Most of our guests are absolute legends. A small number have caused serious damage, crossed boundaries, or behaved in ways that are not okay in a public venue. These terms exist to protect our team, venue staff, performers, artists and everyone else in the room. Let the fun people have fun.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws that cannot be excluded.
Accessibility, mobility, sound and light
Paint Juicy events are held in partnership with venues that vary in accessibility and sensory setup. If you or anyone in your group has mobility requirements, medical conditions, sound or light sensitivities, contact us before booking so we can help you choose the best option and make reasonable adjustments where practicable.
Full details are on our Accessibility page, which also covers sound, lighting and sensory considerations.
Events, venues and changes
Events are delivered in partnership with venues and suppliers. Venue rules and venue staff directions apply at all times.
Paint Juicy may make reasonable changes to seating, start times, format, materials, hosts or performers due to venue requirements, safety, illness, or circumstances outside our control.
If Paint Juicy cancels an event for operational reasons (including venue cancellation, illness, safety or insufficient bookings), we will offer a transfer to a comparable date, a credit, or a refund to the original payment method. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Alcohol, conduct and consent
Alcohol may only be consumed by guests 18 years and over.
All events held at licensed venues must comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) rules and venue policies. Venue staff decisions on alcohol service are final.
Paint Juicy and venue staff may refuse service or remove any guest who appears intoxicated. No refund or credit applies.
You must follow all instructions given by Paint Juicy staff, venue staff and performers, including safety directions. If you do not, you may be refused entry or removed.
Abusive, argumentative, indecent, violent or threatening behaviour, vandalism, theft or damage to property is not tolerated. Anyone behaving this way may be refused entry or asked to leave without refund.
Consent is mandatory. You must not touch entertainers, staff, team members or other guests without clear, prior consent. Do not touch anyone's private parts. This is never allowed under any circumstances.
Sexual harassment, unwanted physical contact, stalking, leering, explicit comments, or filming others without their permission is prohibited.
If you are asked to stop a behaviour, you must stop immediately.
To report harassment or unsafe behaviour during or after an event, contact info@paintjuicy.com.au or speak to a Paint Juicy team member or venue staff member on the night. All reports are taken seriously and handled confidentially where possible.
Security or police may be called where required. Many venues operate CCTV on their premises. That footage is collected and controlled by the venue under their own privacy practices, not by Paint Juicy, and may be provided to authorities if needed. If you have questions about venue CCTV, contact the venue directly.
Staff, venue staff, performers and other guests must be treated with respect at all times.
Attendance and participation are at your own risk and, to the extent permitted by law, Paint Juicy is not liable for loss, damage or injury arising from your failure to follow directions or from the behaviour of other attendees.
If you or your guests cause damage to venue property, equipment, furnishings or event materials, or create a mess requiring additional cleaning, you may be held responsible for repair, replacement and cleaning costs, to the extent permitted by law.
Safety and conduct records
Where a guest breaches these Booking and Attendance Terms, is refused service, or is removed from an event, we may keep a record of the incident, including names, dates, venues and what happened. We use these records to keep our team, performers, venue partners and other guests safe at future events, and we may share them with relevant venue partners where appropriate. Records are retained for as long as necessary to manage ongoing safety risk and are then deleted. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

Photos and video taken by Paint Juicy
By attending a Paint Juicy event, you consent to being photographed or filmed, and for those images and recordings to be used by Paint Juicy and related entities for marketing, social media, advertising and promotional materials without payment.

What Makes a Paint Juicy Private Event Different
A private paint and sip is your group, your venue, your playlist and your vibe from start to finish. Nobody shares the room with strangers. Nobody sits next to someone they did not invite. The whole session is built around your occasion, your artwork choice and the people you chose to be there. That is the difference between a public session and a private booking, and it matters more than most people realise until they experience it.
Paint Juicy private events work because the format takes all the pressure off the organiser. You submit the enquiry, we handle everything else. We arrive early, set up every canvas, easel, paint palette and apron, host the whole session on mic and pack down at the end. The singalong moments and games are built in. The energy runs itself. The person who booked it gets to be a guest at their own event instead of managing it from the moment everyone walks in.
We have run private paint and sip sessions for hens nights, milestone birthdays, corporate team building, work Christmas parties, baby showers, bridal showers, fundraisers, school reunions and everything in between. If you have a group of people you want to bring together and an occasion worth celebrating, Paint Juicy has a format that fits. All you need is ten people and a date.

How Much Does a Private Paint and Sip Cost?
All Paint Juicy private bookings use the same simple pricing structure. A flat rate covers your first ten guests, then a per-person rate applies after that. No venue hire charged on top. No hidden fees for setup, pack down or the host. What you see is what you pay.
First 10 Guests
Flat rate for the full session, all equipment, complete setup and pack down, and your hosted artist for the night. Minimum booking is 10 paid seats for all private events.
Each Additional Guest
Per person after your first 10. Scales simply whether your group is 15 or 60. Add-ons are quoted separately when you enquire.
Groups smaller than 10 are welcome to join one of our public paint and sip sessions running regularly across QLD, NSW and NT. Public sessions start from $59 per person and your group still sits together. Custom artwork designs incur an additional quoted fee.
Optional Add-Ons for Private Bookings
Mention any of these when you enquire and we will build them into your session.
Private Paint and Sip FAQs
What occasions can I book a private paint and sip for?
Paint Juicy runs private paint and sip sessions for hens nights, birthday parties, corporate team building, work Christmas parties, baby showers, bridal showers, school reunions, fundraisers, engagement parties, retirement parties, divorce parties, girls nights out and more. If you have a group and an occasion, we have a format that works. The session is shaped around your event, your artwork choice and your singalong era from start to finish.
How many people do we need for a private booking?
The minimum for any private paint and sip booking is 10 paid guests. That is the number that makes a private session viable and the number where the energy in the room really starts. Groups smaller than 10 are welcome to join one of our public sessions running regularly across QLD, NSW and NT, where your group still sits together and enjoys the same full Paint Juicy experience alongside other guests.
Do guests need any painting experience?
Zero. Paint Juicy private sessions are built for people who think they cannot paint, which is almost everyone, and they always leave completely shocked at what they made. Your artist guides every single step on the mic from the first brushstroke to the finishing touches. No experience, no skill level and no prior art knowledge is required. That is the whole design of the format.
Can we choose our own painting design?
Yes. Choose from the existing Paint Juicy artwork catalogue at no extra charge, or request a completely custom design for an additional fee that is quoted when you enquire. Custom designs take extra prep time to develop into a step-by-step guide the artist can teach on the night, so the earlier you ask the better. Popular for milestone birthdays, corporate events and any occasion where the artwork itself is part of the moment.
Where do you host private paint and sip sessions?
Paint Juicy is 100% mobile. We come to your chosen venue, whether that is your home, office, backyard, a hired function room, a licensed bar, a bowls club or anywhere else your group wants to be. We cover the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Toowoomba, Coffs Harbour, Darwin and more across QLD, NSW and NT. If you need help finding a venue, just mention it when you enquire and we will point you in the right direction.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
It depends on the venue. Paint Juicy runs sessions at BYO-friendly spaces, licensed venues, private homes and function rooms. When you enquire, let us know your venue preference or whether you need help finding one, and we will match you with an option that suits your group and your drinks situation. For home bookings, BYO food and drink is always welcome subject to the usual property rules.
What is the deposit and payment process?
A deposit of $300 secures your date and time slot and is due within two business days of receiving your invoice. The final balance is due 45 days before the event. From 45 days out, the deposit and any final payment become non-refundable. Rescheduling within 45 days of the event will result in the loss of your deposit. Full booking and cancellation terms are available on our Booking and Attendance Terms page.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as possible, especially for weekend dates and peak periods like summer, Christmas and the lead-up to school holidays when private bookings stack up. Most private events lock in six to ten weeks out. Hens nights and milestone birthday bookings often come in further ahead than that. If your date is coming up soon, always worth enquiring - we will confirm availability quickly and work with you where we can.
