Cessnock Aussie Rock Paint and Sip Recap

Cessnock, you gave us a room the size of a footy field and filled every inch of it.

This was a sold out Aussie Rock Paint and Sip, a koala on every easel and a crowd in full dress-up mode. Loads of space, loads of energy, and plenty of room to come up for a boogie between brushstrokes.

Big space, big costumes, big koalas. Cessnock knows how to do it.

The venue: a converted bowling green with room to roam

This space is a converted indoor bowling green, and it is about the size of a football field. That much room is a gift for a Paint and Sip. People could spread out, get up, have a dance and come back to their canvas without ever feeling boxed in. The bar was close, the food was flowing, and it was an easy setup and pack down with a fun team to bounce off. A genuine pleasure to work with.

The artwork: koalas, the true blue pick

Aussie Rock calls for a koala, and the room delivered. Beginner friendly, full of character, and every single one different by the end. Costumes on, brushes up, koalas everywhere.

Dress-ups and a team-building crew

The dress-ups were out in force, which always lifts the energy. We also had a group in who booked as a team building outing, and they left us reviews about how much they loved it. That is the dream, a fun night that doubles as a proper team day.
