Bargara Paint and Sip Recap: A Sold-Out Midweek Party by the Ocean
Some towns save their fun for Friday night. Bargara clearly did not get that memo.

We rolled into Bargara (15 minutes from Bundaberg) for a massive sold-out session at the Bargara Golf Club, and even though it was a Wednesday, the place was absolutely packed. The function room is huge, it’s beachside, and the views over the ocean are the kind that make you feel like you’ve accidentally wandered into a holiday you didn’t plan (the best kind though).

The venue: beachside views, big room, and our own bar
Bargara Golf Club delivered the goods. We had a full setup, a cracking big space to paint in, and our own bar right there so nobody had to go on a mission to get a drink. The result? The drinks were flowing and the vibe was friendly, loud (in the best way), and properly relaxed.

The weather: feral heat outside, cool as a cucumber inside
Outside was crazy hot, proper “why do I live on the sun?” weather. Inside though? The air con army showed up for work. With the many air conditioners pumping, everyone stayed cool as a cucumber while painting away.

Lotti Rem on the mic: singalongs that turned into a dancefloor
Once again, Lotti Rem had the room humming. Big tunes, big voice, and the kind of singalong energy that sneaks up on you. One minute you’re concentrating on your brushstroke, next minute you’re belting out lyrics like you’re headlining the grand final entertainment.

The finish: conga lines, line dancing, and zero shame
This is the part people pretend “just happened”. It didn’t “just happen”. Bargara chose chaos and joy, and we respect that immensly.
The night ended with conga lines, line dancing, and plenty of full-on dancing in general. Exactly what a proper Paint night should be: paint first, then a boogie, then a slightly sore face from laughing.

Why we love bringing Paint to places like Bargara
We love taking these events to places that don’t always get entertainment like this on the regular. It’s the perfect night out for anyone who wants to have a laugh, relax with friends, eat and drink, and still be home at a reasonable hour instead of signing up for a huge night out and regret.

Bargara, you were unreal. Sold out, beachside, loud, happy, and dancing midweek like absolute legends. Ready to come to the next Bargara Paint and Sip?
