Cassette chaos, frosty glasses, big grins

Bundy turned it on. About 50 legends rolled in for a full nostalgia trip and the room went from zero to MTV in two seconds. Cassettes and Walkmans on the canvases, CDs catching the light, Furbys staring at us with unsettling enthusiasm, Pepsi bubbles, SpongeBob doodles and every throwback icon you can hum. It was so loud we could barely get over the top of it with a mic and honestly that is the dream. Singalongs. Laughs. Picture-perfect chaos.

The bar kept cocktails and cold ones coming while the air con fought the steamy night like a hero. It was stinging humid outside and inside the glasses frosted up like we were painting in a cool room. Peak Queensland luxury.

We kept the steps punchy so everyone could paint, chat and belt out their favourite tracks without missing a beat. Big tables. Bigger energy. The kind of night where strangers trade paint tips and mixtape memories like old mates.
