Childers Paint and Sip Recap: Sold Out, Loud, and Weirdly Talented
Childers, you are officially on notice. That session was sold out, and you all turned up like it was a Saturday night in a capital city, except with more manners and better taste in songs.

We rolled into Isis Club Inc ready for a fun paint-and-sip night. You lot decided “fun” meant singing at full volume, painting peacocks like you’ve been hiding art degrees under your beds, and then casually launching into line dancing and a Nutbush that had the whole room moving like it was compulsory.
This is exactly why Paint Juicy works. It’s not a silent art class where everyone whispers and apologises for existing. It’s a proper night out, with paint on the tables, tunes in the air, and a room full of people doing something together instead of staring at their phones pretending they’re “just checking something”.

The vibe at Isis Club Inc
Isis Club has that perfect community-club energy. Big enough to hold a crowd, warm enough to feel like everyone knows everyone, and the kind of place where a group can get loud without anyone clutching pearls.
From the moment guests walked in, there was that buzz you only get when the room is full and everyone’s keen. You could tell it was going to be a good one because people were already laughing before the first brush even hit the canvas.
Massive thank you to the team at Isis Club Inc. You were welcoming, organised, and properly funny. That mix is rare. Most places can manage one of those things on a good day.

Lotti Rem on the mic, and suddenly it’s a concert
Then there’s Lotti Rem. If you have not heard her live, it’s the kind of voice that makes people stop mid-sip and look up like, hang on, are we at a show now?
Having a live singer in the room changes everything. It lifts the whole night. People sing louder, laugh more, and forget they were “not artistic” five minutes ago. Lotti had the room warmed up, brave, and ready to have a crack.
And to the legends who sang with her, yes, we saw you. You were committed. Some of you were committed in a way that suggested you’ve been waiting your whole life for a microphone and an audience that couldn’t escape.

The artwork: peacock chaos, in the best way
The painting for the night was our bright peacock design, and it absolutely delivered.
It’s the kind of artwork that looks impressive on the table but is still achievable, because it’s built around bold shapes and playful detail. The peacock body is strong and simple, then the feathers give everyone permission to go wild with colour.
And Childers, you went wild.
There were so many different versions across the room. Some people leaned into warm tones, others went cooler and punchier, and plenty of you made the background your own. That’s the sweet spot. Same core painting, totally different results, and everyone walks out proud.
There’s also something about painting a peacock that makes people a bit cheeky. It’s got attitude. It’s basically a bird that knows it looks good. That energy definitely matched the room.

The moment it turned into line dancing
Every session has a turning point. Childers’ turning point was when you all collectively decided painting was no longer enough entertainment. Suddenly we’ve got line dancing, people up and moving, and then the Nutbush kicked in like it was part of the curriculum.
It wasn’t forced. No awkward “come on everyone, get up” moment. It happened naturally, which is always the best sign. It means the room felt safe, relaxed, and properly in the spirit of it.
And honestly, watching a crowd go from careful brush strokes to full Nutbush formation in the same night is exactly the kind of unhinged joy we like to see.

What made Childers special
A sold out room is great, but it’s not the crowd size that makes a night. It’s the people.
Childers brought the perfect mix:
-
Groups who came in ready to laugh and not take themselves too seriously
-
People who got stuck in and didn’t overthink it
-
Guests who cheered each other on instead of quietly comparing
-
The dancers, obviously
-
The singers who acted like this was their tour date
It felt like a proper community night out, with that “everyone’s in on it” energy. That’s hard to manufacture. You either have it or you don’t. Childers had it.

Shoutout wall
To everyone who:
-
Sang with Lotti Rem, or sang at her when she walked near your table
-
Nailed the feathers and then pretended it was “accidental”
-
Added your own flair and made it look even more you
-
Got up for the line dancing and didn’t care who was watching
-
Stayed for the chaos instead of leaving early like sensible people
You made the night.
And again, to Isis Club Inc, thank you for having us and for being such a great host venue. It matters. A room can make or break the night, and that space absolutely worked.

It’s always the same story. People walk in saying they “can’t paint”, then leave holding up a canvas like they’re about to open a gallery.
Next time: do it again, but bring more mates
If you missed out on Childers because it sold out, that’s on you for having a life and not refreshing the website like a maniac.
If you were there, you already know. Next time, bring the mates who said they were “too tired”. They’re not too tired. They just needed a gentle shove and a drink in their hand.
Keep an eye on the Paint Juicy website and socials for the next Childers Paint and Sip drop. We’ll be back, and if you carry on like that again, we might need a warning label.
