Gladstone Paint and Sip Singalong Recap (Lotti Rem on the mic)
Gladstone, thank you very much for joining us last night for an absolutely epic singalong session. Sold out again, plenty of return customers, and the exact kind of energy we’ve come to expect from you lot. You don’t “ease into the night”. You arrive ready to roll and then somehow find an extra gear.

Outside was humid and gross, because Queensland loves that for us, but inside we were living the good life thanks to six air conditioners doing the good work. Cool room, hot vocals, cold drinks, and a crowd that didn’t need warming up.
Lotti Rem was in full control of the room
Lotti Rem was on the mic and had her own dancefloor ready to go, which is a very Gladstone thing to support. Some towns politely nod along. Gladstone builds a dancefloor around the singer and acts like it’s completely normal.
The best part was how it all blended together: painting, singing, laughing, then back to painting like nothing happened. Chaos, but organised chaos. The Paint Juicy speciality.

What we painted: bright, bold, showtime vibes
The canvases were proper “showtime” energy. Big colour, big contrast, and loads of room for people to make it their own without it turning into a stressful art exam.
Across the room we saw:
-
Deep blue water and bold reflections
-
A dark city skyline with glowing windows
-
Dramatic beams of colour in the sky (teals, pinks, golds, greens, the whole lolly bag)
-
Those punchy feature details that make the painting look impressive from two metres away, which is the only distance anyone should be judging art at after a couple of drinks
The variety was unreal. Same core design, totally different mood on every table, which is exactly how it should be.

Venue shoutout: table service made it easy
Massive thanks to the venue team for keeping the night running smoothly. Having our own bar and having food delivered straight to the tables made everything easy. No big queues, no scrambling around, no people disappearing for 40 minutes and coming back with “sorry I missed a step”. Just seamless service while everyone stayed in the moment.
That kind of flow matters on a sold out night. It keeps the vibe up and the paints moving.

Sold out crowd, return customers, and the Gladstone effect
There’s something about Gladstone crowds. People turn up with their mates, they commit to the singalong, and they actually want to have fun. You could feel the confidence in the room, especially from the return customers who came in like, “we know the drill, hand us the apron”.
It was loud in the right ways, relaxed in the right ways, and full of those little table moments that make these nights so good: people comparing colours, swapping brushes, cheering each other on, and laughing at the “how is this actually turning out good?” realisation that hits about halfway through.

Next time, Gladstone
If last night proved anything (again), it’s that Gladstone is built for Paint Juicy nights. Big energy, big voices, and zero hesitation.
We’ll be back, and if you missed out this time, don’t wait around pretending our Gladstone Paint and Sip tickets don’t sell out here. They do. Every time.
