Wyong 90s and 00s Catchup at The Wyong Milk Factory

Wyong turned it on. As the weather warmed up, 80 of you rolled into The Wyong Milk Factory for a 90s and 00s paint and sip that went the full three hours and then some. The venue looked great, the drinks and food flowed, and the singalongs hit that sweet spot where the whole room knows the chorus.

Wyong 90s and 00s Paint and Sip Recap

The vibe

Regulars came back with new friends in tow, hens and birthday crews grabbed the front tables, and we had first timers lining up palettes like pros. Paint, sip, laugh, repeat. Between layers we built in quick breaks so everyone could top up, take photos and compare canvases.

What we painted

The brief was pure nostalgia. Guests picked their icons and we guided the steps to make them pop on canvas.

  • Tamagotchi

  • Furby

  • Nintendo Game Boy

  • Nintendo 64 controller

  • Nokia brick phones

  • The infamous pointy S we all drew at school

  • MTV logos and music notes

  • Pepsi pops

  • Beavis and Butt-Head nods

  • SpongeBob bits and bobs

  • Disposable cameras, boomboxes and cassette tapes

Every table told a different story of the decade. Bright backgrounds, chunky outlines and just enough detail to make each piece instantly recognisable.

Why The Wyong Milk Factory works

Plenty of space for big groups, easy service for drinks and snacks, and that lively Central Coast energy that makes a weeknight feel like a weekend. It is a spot that suits mixed ages and mixed skill levels, which is exactly why these themed catchups land so well.

Crowd highlights

  • A hens crew nailed matching cassette tapes with lyric quotes

  • A birthday table went full gaming tribute with controllers and 8-bit hearts

  • First timers surprised themselves with clean lines and bold colour choices

  • Regulars levelled up backgrounds with gradients and neon accents
