Booking & Attendance Terms

If you are making a booking on behalf of others, these policies apply to everyone attending. It is your responsibility to inform your guests of these terms.

1. Alcohol, conduct and consent

• Alcohol may only be consumed by guests 18 years and over.

• Abusive, argumentative, indecent, vandalism, theft or violent behaviour is not tolerated. Offenders will be asked to leave.

• Consent is mandatory. You must not touch entertainers, staff, team members or other guests without clear, prior consent. Do not touch anyone’s private parts. This is never allowed.

• Sexual harassment, unwanted physical contact, stalking, leering, explicit comments or filming others without permission are prohibited.

• If asked to stop a behaviour, you must stop immediately.

• Security or police may be called where required. Venues operate CCTV that records during events. Footage may be provided to authorities if needed.

• Staff and other guests must be treated with respect at all times.

2. Photography, filming and marketing consent

• By attending a Paint Juicy event you consent to being photographed or filmed, and for those images or recordings to be used in Paint Juicy marketing, social media and promotional materials without payment.

• If you prefer not to appear, tell a staff member on arrival and we will take reasonable steps to seat you out of camera zones. Please avoid stepping into active filming or photo areas.

3. General sessions: cancellations and reschedules

• Cancellations
  Request more than 72 hours before your session start time and you are eligible for a full refund to the original payment method, or a credit voucher for a future session.

• Reschedules
  Requests made within 72 hours before the session start time receive a credit voucher minus a last-minute fee of $20 per seat for sessions up to 3 hours. Credit is valid for 6 months from issue.

• No shows
  Requests within 71 hours of start time or failure to attend are treated as a no show. No refunds or credits are provided.

• Denied access
  If you are refused entry for any reason, you will not receive a refund or credit.

4. Age restrictions

• General sessions
  Guests aged 12 and up may attend with a participating adult. Children 11 and under, including babies, cannot attend general sessions. Where adult content applies, such as Nude Live Painting, all attendees must be 18 or over.

• Private bookings
  All ages can attend, including children and babies, provided guardians supervise under 18s at all times. Please review our Sound and Lighting Notice if applicable.

5. Private Paint and Sip events

• Pricing
  $700 covers the first 10 guests. $65 per additional guest. Minimum charge is 10 paid seats. Smaller groups may proceed at the $700 minimum. If that does not suit, consider our open sessions.

• Artwork selection
  Choose one artwork from our gallery for your session.

• All ages
  Under 18s may attend with a responsible guardian who remains for the duration.

• Entertainers and extras
  Add entertainers such as a Queen or a Nude Male Model for an additional cost. Availability and venue rules apply. Email info@paintjuicy.com.au. For Nude Male sessions, model attire is subject to venue rules. Private residences may request nude. Licensed venues may require covered attire. The consent rules above apply to everyone at all times.

• Deposit and payments
  A $300 deposit is required to secure your date and time and is due within 2 business days of invoice. The final invoice is due 45 days prior to the event. From 45 days before the event, the deposit and any final payment become non-refundable. Rescheduling the private event or withholding the final payment from 45 days out will result in the loss of your deposit.

6. Refunds

• Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method only. Processing times vary by bank or card issuer.

• Refunds for payments made via Afterpay incur a 6 percent fee of the refunded amount to cover third-party charges.

• We cannot accept returns or provide refunds on sale items, tickets or gift cards.

7. Gift cards and vouchers

• Gift cards purchased through our website do not expire and can be used on any service.

• Gift vouchers issued for giveaways or competitions, including third parties such as radio, have their own validity terms. No extensions are provided after expiry.

8. Third-party ticket warning

Only purchase tickets from the official Paint Juicy website. We do not verify or endorse resale via social media or other platforms. Tickets purchased from third parties are at your own risk. If a third-party ticket is invalid, entry may be refused and we cannot assist on the day.

9. Allergen disclaimer

• Food brought by guests or contractors may contain or come into contact with allergens including dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, fish and shellfish. Venue partners take steps to minimise risk, but cross-contamination can occur and formulations may change without notice. We cannot guarantee any item is free of specific allergens.

• It is your responsibility to check directly with the venue about ingredients, preparation and potential cross-contamination before consuming any food or drink. Paint Juicy is not responsible for any food-related issues, reactions or incidents.

10. Seating, arrival and attire

• We will do our best to seat groups together when you arrive on time. Late purchases or late arrivals may be seated separately.

• Please arrive 20 minutes early so we can seat you and start on time. Sessions begin within 15 minutes of the scheduled start.

• We use water-based acrylic paint. It can mark clothing and personal items. Wear appropriate clothing. We will not reimburse, offer credit or compensate anyone for paint on clothing, accessories, shoes, devices or other personal items.

11. Physical goods returns

This section applies only to physical products, not events, sessions or pre-purchased food.

• You have 30 days from receipt to request a return. Items must be unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase.

• Contact info@paintjuicy.com.au to start a return. Do not send items without approval.

• Damaged or wrong items must be reported immediately on receipt.

• Non-returnable items include perishables, custom or personalised products, personal care goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids and gases.
