Mackay Paint and Sip Recap: Movie Night, Singing, and a Big Ass Fan

Mackay turned on the humidity dial and snapped it clean off. All that recent rain meant the air was thick, the kind of night where your fringe gives up and your drink sweats more than you do. And still, a full house rocked up ready to paint, sip, and belt out tunes like they’d been training for it.

It was drizzling on and off. Inside though, it was all colour, laughter, and people immediately getting stuck into the canvas like they had something to prove.

We went with a movie theme for the night, which always brings out big energy. People get nostalgic, they get chatty, and suddenly everyone’s got an opinion about what counts as a “classic”.
