Why Proserpine loves a Paint Juicy session

Proserpine is the gateway to the Whitsundays, the gateway to Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island, and the home base for thousands of weekend trips and hens weekends every year. What it has not had until now is a paint and sip that actually feels like a night out. Paint Juicy is entertainment first, painting second. The canvas is the souvenir. The night is the gift.

Every session is hosted live by a real artist who walks the room with a microphone. Every step is guided so even the most 'I cannot draw a stick figure' guest leaves with something worth hanging on the fridge. Singalong moments and trivia are baked in throughout, partly because they are riotously fun, partly because they let the paint dry between layers.

What is included in every Proserpine session

• A live host artist on the mic walking every guest through the painting step by step
• Premium paint, brushes, easel, canvas and apron set up at every seat before you arrive
• A themed singalong playlist nobody is sitting still through
• Trivia, games and laugh-out-loud moments woven throughout the session
• A finished painting you actually want to put on the wall, not stuff in a drawer
• Full setup by our team so nobody has to lift a finger
• A venue partner with a proper bar and kitchen so food and drinks are sorted

Hens parties, birthdays and team nights in Proserpine and the Whitsundays

Proserpine and the wider Whitsundays region is hens party gold. Beach accommodation, a built-in long weekend, island day trips and a paint and sip night that gives the whole crew something proper to do together. We do hens, birthdays, team building, baby showers and Christmas parties. Everything supplied. Maximum pressure to sing badly and laugh too loud.

Coming with a smaller crew? Grab seats at one of our public sessions and join the party. Coming with a bigger crew, the whole hens tribe, the work team or the entire extended family? Book a private session and the whole room is yours. Private bookings start at $700 flat for the first 10 guests and $65 for every guest after that. Minimum 10 paid seats.

For private bookings we can come to your venue, your favourite bar, your local bowls club, even your backyard if there is power and a roof. We bring the whole show. You bring the people and the playlist requests. Artwork comes from the Paint Juicy catalogue and we can tweak the colours and details to suit the group.

Where in Proserpine we run sessions

Paint Juicy is 100% mobile. We run Proserpine Paint and Sip sessions at partner venues across the township, plus across the wider Whitsundays region from Cannonvale and Airlie Beach to Jubilee Pocket, Bowen, Collinsville and beyond. If your venue or holiday house is not on our list yet, a private booking can change that. We come to you, including straight to your accommodation if there is power and a roof.

Things to do around Proserpine while you are here

Make a weekend of it. Whitsundays sailing day, Hamilton Island lunch, Airlie Beach lagoon, Cedar Creek Falls, then end the day with a Paint Juicy night. Or build the whole hens or birthday weekend around the session and let it be the headline event. The Whitsundays reward groups who plan the highlight first and slot the rest in around it.

Cannot make a session right now but want to gift someone a Paint Juicy night they will actually use? Paint Juicy gift vouchers are valid across every public session in every state, never expire, and let the recipient pick the date and theme that works for them. Vouchers land in the inbox the moment you check out.

Frequently asked questions

Where exactly in Proserpine is the session held?

We rotate between partner venues across Proserpine and the Whitsundays depending on the date and theme. Each session listing shows the exact venue, the start time and the address. You will get the full details in your booking confirmation email.

Do I need to be able to paint?

Not even a little bit. Our host artist walks you through every brushstroke. People who have never picked up a brush leave with something they are proud of. People who already paint leave with a sore face from laughing. Both win.

How long is a session?

Up to 3 hours from start to finish. Long enough to settle in, enjoy a few drinks and properly enjoy the night. Short enough to be home at a reasonable hour.

What is the age policy?

All public Paint Juicy sessions are 18+ because the venues are licensed and the playlists get cheeky. Nude life drawing and bottomless sessions are strictly 18+. Check the individual session listing for the exact age policy.

Can I book a private session?

Yes. Private bookings start at $700 flat for the first 10 guests and $65 for every guest after that, with a minimum of 10 paid seats. Get in touch with the date, the rough headcount and the location and we will sort it.

What if I am the only one in my friend group up for it?

Solo guests are super welcome at every Paint Juicy session. Plenty of people come on their own and leave with new mates. The room is friendly, the host is on the mic, and nobody is left in the corner.
