How do I run a DIY paint and sip party at home?

Option one: DIY paint and sip at home
If you want to run it yourself, here is what you need:
- Canvases for everyone (20x25cm or 30x40cm works well)
- Acrylic paint in a decent colour range
- A set of brushes in different sizes per person
- Easels or a way to prop canvases upright (books work in a pinch)
- Water cups and paper towels per person
- Old tablecloths or newspaper to protect surfaces
- Aprons if you have them
- A painting reference image or tutorial to follow
- Music, drinks and people who are up for it

The honest DIY challenge
Running a paint and sip as the host is a very different experience from attending one as a guest. You are managing the supplies, guiding the steps, keeping the energy up and trying to paint at the same time. It is doable, but you will spend most of the night working rather than participating.
