Can I choose my own painting at a paint and sip?
It depends on whether you are booking into a public session or a private booking. The two work very differently on this point.
Public sessions
At a public Paint Juicy session, the painting is chosen in advance and listed with the event. All guests at that session paint the same design guided by the host.
The host prepares for that specific painting and guides the whole room through it step by step, so the design listed is the one everyone follows along with. But it is your canvas, so you are never locked in. Plenty of guests add their own twist or go completely off-script - we have had aliens, spaceships, the Loch Ness monster and the odd ghost turn up mid-session. Follow the guide or freestyle, the choice is yours.
What you can do is choose which public session to attend based on the painting that appeals to you. Browse the upcoming events calendar for your city - each event listing shows the painting and theme for that session. Book the one that suits you.
Private bookings
For private bookings, you have significant input into the painting choice.
You can select a design from the Paint Juicy gallery of available paintings - a range of landscapes, animals, florals, abstract pieces and themed works. The gallery is shared during the booking process.
If you have something specific in mind, ask us, chances are the catalogue has a design we can tweak to match. Tweaks just need a little lead time, so mention them when you book.
The host prepares specifically for whichever design you choose and the whole session is built around it.
What if I want something that matches a specific occasion?
This is the most common request. A hens night might want something romantic or bold. A baby shower might want a nursery-appropriate design. A birthday might want something that reflects the birthday person's interests.
When you enquire about a private booking, mention the occasion and any preferences you have for the painting. The team will work with you to find a catalogue design that fits.
Can each person in the group paint a different subject?
If you want a whole session built around everyone painting a different subject from scratch, that is Paint Your Pet, where each guest paints their own pet from a personal photo.
In every other session the host guides the room through one design so everyone can follow the same steps together. You are still free to add your own flourishes or take your canvas in your own direction - the guided painting is a starting point, not a rule.
