How do I host a paint and sip as a fundraiser?

Paint and sip fundraisers are a legitimate and popular way to raise money for a cause. Paint Juicy has run fundraiser sessions for community groups, charities and organisations across Australia. Here is how it works.

The fundraiser model

A paint and sip fundraiser works like any private Paint Juicy booking, with the addition of a fundraising structure built around the ticket sales.

Your organisation sells tickets to the session at whatever price you choose. Paint Juicy charges our standard rate for the session. The difference between your ticket price and our charge is your fundraising revenue.

For example: if you sell fifty tickets at $80 each, that is $4,000 in ticket revenue. After the Paint Juicy session cost, the surplus goes to your cause.

What Paint Juicy provides for a fundraiser session

Everything we provide for any private booking: full workstation setup for every guest, professional host running the full session, singalong format and entertainment, complete setup and packdown.

We also work with you on timing, venue logistics and any specific moments you want built into the session - acknowledgements, speeches, donation asks or raffle elements that are relevant to the fundraiser.

What makes a paint and sip a good fundraiser activity

People buy tickets to fundraisers reluctantly when the activity is generic. People buy tickets enthusiastically when the activity is something they actually want to do.

Paint and sip has broad appeal across age groups, is shareable on social media (which amplifies the fundraising reach) and produces a physical takeaway that guests associate with the cause.

Fundraiser sessions also tend to generate strong room energy because everyone in the room has made a choice to be there that is slightly more intentional than a standard Saturday night out.

What the organisation needs to handle

  • The ticket sales and pricing (you control this)
  • The venue booking and any venue-specific logistics
  • Promotion of the event to your community
  • Any raffle, auction or additional fundraising elements on the night
  • Collection and accounting for funds raised

Paint Juicy handles the session logistics. You handle the fundraising mechanics.

How to enquire about a fundraiser session

Use the private booking enquiry form on the Paint Juicy website. Mention that it is a fundraiser, include the organisation name and cause, your approximate group size and your preferred date.

We will come back to you with pricing, availability and any questions needed to plan the session properly.
