What drinks are served at a paint and sip event?
The sip in paint and sip is real - but what you are sipping depends entirely on where the session is happening. Here is an honest breakdown of how it works at Paint Juicy events.
At licensed venues
When Paint Juicy runs a public session at a pub, club or licensed function venue, drinks are managed by that venue. They handle their own bar, their own pricing and their own menu.
What is on offer varies by venue - some have full cocktail menus, some are pub pours, some have a drinks package available for private bookings. The best way to know exactly what to expect is to check the specific event listing, which will name the venue. Jump on their website or give them a call and see what they have.
Paint Juicy does not set or control what licensed venues charge for drinks. That is entirely between you and the venue.
At private events, home sessions and Airbnb bookings
When Paint Juicy comes to you - your home, your Airbnb, your backyard or a private space - the event is fully BYO.
Bring whatever you like. Wine, beer, cocktails you have premixed, sparkling water, juice for anyone not drinking. There is no venue bar, no markup and no restrictions (beyond the obvious: drink responsibly, and confirm with your Airbnb host that a BYO gathering is permitted under their house rules).
Most private Paint Juicy sessions are BYO events and guests typically arrive with a bottle of wine or a six-pack and are very happy about it.
What about the bottomless paint and sip sessions?
Paint Juicy also runs bottomless sessions at select venues where food and drinks are included in the ticket price. These run at $99 per person and the venue supplies the drinks and bites for the duration of the session.
Check the event listing for whether a session is standard admission or bottomless - the listing will make it clear.
A note on drinking during painting
You are absolutely allowed to drink while you paint. That is the whole point. The sessions are designed to work at any level of enthusiasm for your beverage - from "just here for the art" to "very enthusiastic about both simultaneously".
The host keeps the session moving regardless and everyone finishes their canvas.
