Queensland and New South Wales · 42,000+ guests · 4.9 stars on Google

Three proud cities, one singalong run, and your business in the room at every stop. Paint will pitch its canvases and its singalong wherever a partner points on the map, so if you've been weighing up how to advertise in Orange NSW, Bathurst or Dubbo without yelling over the static, a tour out west can start with your brief.

Paint Juicy CONNECT is how local businesses and bigger brands get inside Paint's nights as part of the fun, never as an interruption to it. This page stays in the Central West: how a night, or a whole run of them, gets built around one partner, who actually lives in these towns, and how one business, or one brand stretched across all three, could show up on the night. For the bigger picture, start at the CONNECT brand partnerships hub.

Bathurst, Orange, Dubbo, or all three: a run built around your brand

Paint doesn't wait for a calendar to tell it where to go. Name a Central West town and Paint will build a singalong paint and sip night there with your business woven into it, or string Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo together into one run, back to back if that suits you. Each night packs up to 3 hours of live hosts, canvases, trivia while the paint dries and a singalong that turns a function room into a front row. The crowd is mostly women who booked with sisters, mums, workmates and the friend who always knows the second verse.

A weeknight that works harder

A midweek night is a gift for a retailer. Your offer goes home with guests who still have the rest of the week and a full weekend to come in and use it, while the night itself is still the thing they're texting each other about.

The decade your customers sing along to

The 70s and 80s sit behind both New South Wales nights on Paint's big nights list, more on that just below, and the 80s and 90s power most of the rest of it. Tell us the era your customers grew up on and your brief can help shape the night.

A window that matches your trading calendar

Tell Paint when your trade needs a lift, whether that's a new season's range, a store opening or the start of your busy months, and we'll aim the night at that window so your offer is fresh when guests walk out the door.

Here's the bit made for regional marketers. One brand can ride every night of a run in one booking: one brief, the same audio spot in the Paint radio session in every town, a separate offer code for Orange, Bathurst and Dubbo, and a report broken out town by town. That's the thinking behind Paint's regional and touring campaigns, and the Central West suits it down to the ground: three proud cities, each with its own main street, its own morning coffee ritual and its own idea of which town does it best, joined by one show and one campaign.

Getting in ahead of the listing is what opens every door. The night can carry your business as its presenting partner, named on the listing itself. A scene from your world can become the canvas every guest paints and takes home, because a night isn't released for booking until its artwork is locked in, which means the first partner through the door has a hand in it. Stack on a radio spot, a Town Pass page with its own code in each town, a street team out among the shops the day before, an opt-in demo bar, something in the goodie bag, a sponsored trivia round, or a moment on Paint's new concert-style screens in rooms where they've rolled out. Pick one town and a couple of pieces, or the lot across all three.

Living locally? The Orange paint and sip nights, Bathurst paint and sip nights and Dubbo paint and sip nights collections show where Paint is heading next out west.

Two regional NSW Fridays that went off with the 70s and 80s

Paint's own sales data for its public nights, covering the 24 months to 10/10/2026, shows what New South Wales does with a decade it loves. Cessnock, out in the Hunter, had 110 guests booked when the 70s and 80s came to town on Friday 23/01/2026. Up in New England, Armidale went the same way on Friday 12/12/2025, with 101 guests booked for its own 70s and 80s night.

Two country towns, two Fridays, one era, and not a capital city in sight. Bring that era to Orange, Bathurst or Dubbo and a brand backing the night is backing the same format, the same hosts and the same decades that drew those crowds. Paint keeps the full roll call of its biggest nights on one list, and the Hunter story has its own page if you trade on the coast too: advertise in Newcastle and the Hunter.

Nobody can tell you what a night will book before it happens, and Paint never pretends otherwise. What Paint does promise is the paperwork afterwards: every piece that ran, the night it ran, the paid seat count in the room, plus the photos and codes to prove it.

Out here, the noise follows people everywhere except the paint room

Think about where your ads currently land. The radio spot plays in the ute on the run between Bathurst and the farm, under the rattle of the trailer and a phone call from the agronomist. The TV ad goes to air while she's half watching and fully texting. The social post gets a thumb's worth of attention between a council notice and a recipe she'll never cook.

None of that is wasted, exactly. It's just competing with life, and life is loud. Out west it's loud in its own way: long drives, early starts, harvest weeks, hospital shifts and a calendar full of sport, show days and catch-ups. Getting a quiet minute of anyone's attention is the hard part.

A Paint night contains the noise. A room full of locals who chose to be there, parked at an easel for up to 3 hours, with no phone call, ad break or feed asking for their eyes. Phones come out for photos of the canvas, not for scrolling. The host has the room, the singer has the room, and for the moments in between, your business can have it too.

The neatest example is Paint's own radio session, a pre-recorded, radio-style music set that plays as doors open, again mid-night while Lotti takes a breather, and once more as coats go on. Brands can go to air inside the Paint radio session using a radio-quality spot slotted between tracks the room actually wants to hear. Your spot waits its turn: when the host is talking or the room is singing, the session stays silent.

Who you'd be talking to in Orange, Bathurst and Dubbo

Before you spend a dollar on Central West NSW advertising, it pays to know the towns. These figures come from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Destination NSW, the NSW Government and the councils and institutions that know these places best.

147,733 people across three councils

The ABS put the population at 30/06/2025 at 44,990 in Orange, 45,359 in Bathurst Regional and 57,384 in Dubbo Regional, in Regional Population figures published on 31/03/2026. All three grew in the year to 30/06/2025: Orange by 262 people, Bathurst Regional by 360 and Dubbo Regional by 335. New residents need a new hairdresser, a new GP and a new favourite lunch spot.

Half the main street, and younger than you'd guess

Women were 51.3 percent of Orange residents at the 2021 Census, 50.6 percent in Dubbo Regional and 49.8 percent in Bathurst Regional. Median ages were 37 in Orange, 38 in Bathurst Regional and 36 in Dubbo Regional, all under the New South Wales median of 39. Paint's crowd skews female and spans the decades, thirties right through to nineties, so a single table can hold a mum, her grown-up daughter and her own mother.

Hospitals, gold and a university in every town

Hospitals were the single largest industry of employment in all three council areas at the 2021 Census: 7.0 percent of workers in Orange, 5.4 percent in Dubbo Regional and 4.2 percent in Bathurst Regional. Orange adds gold ore mining at 4.8 percent, and its operator describes Cadia as a gold and copper operation about 25 kilometres from the city. Charles Sturt University has campuses in all three: its medicine program in Orange, a Dubbo campus that specialises in health sciences and social work, and a Bathurst campus whose history the university traces back to 1895.

Food, the Mount and a poet's birthplace

Destination NSW's Visit NSW calls Orange FOOD Week, short for Food Of Orange District, Australia's longest running regional food and wine festival, started in 1991 and held each autumn through the harvest and vintage season. The NSW Government notes that Banjo Paterson Memorial Park in Orange marks the poet's birthplace at Narrambla, where he was born on 17/02/1864. Bathurst Regional Council's library describes Bathurst as the oldest European inland settlement in New South Wales, and the council puts Mount Panorama at 6.213 kilometres, a public road with a 60 km/h limit outside major events. In Dubbo, the Old Dubbo Gaol on Macquarie Street is on the State Heritage Register. Producers riding that appetite will find more in marketing ideas for food producers and cafés.

5.5 million visitors, and locals playing host

Destination NSW's Central NSW Visitor Profile for the year ending March 2026 draws on Tourism Research Australia figures and puts total visitors to the Central NSW tourism region, which stretches well beyond these three cities, at 5.5 million. Of the 2.8 million domestic overnight visitors, 43 percent were visiting friends and relatives. Those trips are hosted, fed and steered by locals, the same kind of locals who book a Paint night.

Picture your business on a Central West run

The whole spread of options lives in the full CONNECT menu, but here's how a few kinds of Central West business could plug into a night or a run built for them. These are hypotheticals built on business categories to get you thinking, not past clients.

The regional brand on every night of the run

Picture a lender, insurer or rural supplier with branches in all three towns. Its audio spot plays in the radio session in Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo. The day before each night, a street team works the main streets with a card pointing to the local branch. A Town Pass page carries a different code in each town, so head office sees exactly which branch the offer walked into.

The Orange cellar door with a pour worth a detour

Imagine a winery or cidery from the hills around Orange running an opt-in tasting bar at an Orange night. Guests drift over between layers when the mood takes them, and nobody gets chased around the tables. It needs the venue's approval, every pour happens under the venue's licence, and it's strictly for guests 18 and over. There's more thinking on this in event marketing for drinks brands.

The Bathurst workshop that owns the trivia round

Picture a tyre and service centre a few minutes from the Mount sponsoring the trivia at a Bathurst night while the paint dries. Five questions about Mount Panorama and the 80s and 90s, the host names the sponsor, and the table with the best answers carries off a car care pack. It's earned on brains, not luck, so every prize is skill-based.

The Dubbo boutique with a new season to launch

Imagine a fashion boutique or gift store slipping a voucher into every goodie bag and the Town Pass booklet at a Dubbo night, timed to land as the new range hits the racks. The offer arrives in the hands of locals who've just spent an evening laughing, at the moment they're deciding where to spend.

The heritage name on the listing

Picture a family business with generations in the region presenting a Central West night from the very first brief, its name on the listing and a canvas of Mount Canobolas at dusk on every easel. Long-standing local brands fit Paint perfectly, because Paint makes peak nostalgia for a living, and arriving first is what puts both the name and the canvas on the table.

Why Paint Juicy CONNECT? Because Paint Juicy connects!

It connects a business to a room that's ready to like it. It connects Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo into one campaign without three separate briefs, three media buys and three sets of artwork. And it connects the women in that room to each other, which is the whole reason they booked. Your brand becomes part of the story they retell at netball and over the next family barbecue.

It also connects on trust. Paid relationships are disclosed to guests, so nobody feels tricked. Guest details stay with Paint, full stop: locals who'd like to hear more from you raise their hand through your own QR code or offer code. And once the run wraps, a proof pack lands with you, town by town, showing every piece that ran, the night it ran and the paid seat count in each room. Everything else sits on the hub: how Paint Juicy CONNECT works for brands.

Your Central West questions, before you name your town

Can one business turn up in Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo on one run?

Yes, and it's the simplest way to cover Central West NSW in one hit. Ask Paint to build the run and the same audio spot can play in the Paint radio session in all three towns, the same goodie bag item can travel the whole way, and each town gets its own offer code so you can see which one responded. You brief once, approve once and get one report, broken down town by town.

We only trade in one of the three towns. Can we have a night just there?

Of course. A Dubbo café doesn't need a Bathurst crowd, and a Bathurst mechanic doesn't need Orange. Name your town and pick what suits: a trivia round with your name on it, an audio spot, a tasting or demo bar, your page in the Town Pass, an item in the goodie bag, or the whole night under your banner. If a neighbour in another town wants the same, a run can carry several local businesses at once, each with its own code and its own slice of the report.

Can we have a say in when our night happens and what guests paint?

That's the advantage of getting in first. Tell Paint the weeks that matter to your trade, a launch, an opening or the start of your peak, and we'll plan around that window. Arrive before the night is listed and both the presenting credit and a sponsored canvas are still up for grabs, since no night opens for bookings until its artwork is finished. The earlier the brief lands, the more of the night you can help shape.

We make wine, cider or spirits near Orange. Can guests taste them on the night?

Often, yes, through an opt-in demo bar that guests visit only if they want to. Every tasting needs the venue's say-so, any pour happens on the venue's liquor licence, and only guests 18 and over can take part. An Orange night is the natural fit, and a tasting can sit happily alongside a Town Pass page that sends guests to your cellar door.

How will we know what the run did for us?

Every partner gets a proof pack afterwards, listing each piece that ran, the night it ran on and the paid seats in the room, with photos and evidence to match. Your offer carries a unique code per town, so you count redemptions in Bathurst, Orange and Dubbo yourself. Paint reports what happened in the room and never invents results it can't show you. If something didn't run as planned, the proof pack says so, and we sort it out with you.

Will we get the names and emails of guests who attended?

No, and that's deliberate. Paint never shares guest data with anyone. Anyone keen to stay in touch opts in through your offer, using your QR code, landing page or code, so every contact you collect has said yes to you directly. It keeps the room relaxed, keeps your list clean and keeps everyone on the right side of privacy rules.
