Tin Can Bay paint and sip, a coastal night with the singalong turned all the way up
Tin Can Bay does slow on purpose. Boats sit in the inlet, the dolphins turn up most mornings at Norman Point, and nobody is in a hurry to be anywhere else. A Paint Juicy night fits right into that rhythm and then, for up to 3 hours, turns the volume up. Guided painting called out on the mic, a playlist that has the room singing by the second track, and a crowd of locals walking out holding a canvas they genuinely did not think they had in them.
Paint Juicy sessions run at Tin Can Bay Country Club on the Cooloola Coast, with guests coming in from Rainbow Beach, Cooloola Cove and the wider Gympie region for the night. It is a small town with a big social streak, which is exactly the room this format was built for.
Public Tin Can Bay sessions from $59 AUD per person. Private events from $700 for the first 10 guests, then $65 per additional guest. 100% mobile, Paint Juicy comes to the venue and runs the whole night. Browse the full Queensland paint and sip calendar for all upcoming dates.
The Paint Juicy difference
100% mobile. We set up every canvas, easel, palette and apron before the first guest arrives, and run the session on the mic from start to finish. You bring the group. The painting is guided step-by-step. The singalong runs the whole time. Every guest leaves with a canvas.
Where Tin Can Bay sessions run
Public sessions run at Tin Can Bay Country Club, 220 Tin Can Bay Road, Tin Can Bay QLD 4580, a golf and bowls club with a restaurant and a fully stocked bar. Private Tin Can Bay events run wherever suits your group, from licensed venues and community halls to a holiday house with enough floor space for easels.

Never done a Paint Juicy session before?
The worry everyone walks in with is the same three words: "I cannot draw." The line everyone says at the end is a different three: "I cannot believe I made that." Every step is called out on the mic before anyone touches paint to canvas. You paint the background before the foreground, the light before the shadow, the outline before the detail. By the time you reach the bit that looked hard on the demo, the groundwork is already done and it turns out easier than it looked. No experience needed, ever.
How Tin Can Bay sessions work
Sessions run for up to 3 hours. The singalong runs the whole way through and the trivia moments between layers keep the room loud while the paint dries. The painting is guided from the first brushstroke to the last, so the group can put its attention on the music, the laughing and the canvas rather than working out what to do next. Most sessions are 18+, some are 12+ with a paying guardian present the whole time, and every event listing states which.
Booking a private Tin Can Bay event

There is no minimum venue requirement, Paint Juicy sets up in licensed venues, community halls, holiday houses and backyards, anywhere with enough floor space. Add-ons include karaoke, tarot mini-readings, photo wall props and a photographer. Artwork comes from the Paint Juicy catalogue, with colour tweaks to suit your occasion at no extra cost.
