Queensland and New South Wales · 42,000+ guests · 4.9 stars on Google

Every business owner on the Coast knows the catch. Your customers are scattered across a peninsula, around a lake, up a valley and along a railway line, and plenty of them spend the working week somewhere else entirely. So when you set out to advertise on the Central Coast, you usually end up paying to chase her across all of it: a sign on the highway, a spot on the drive home, a sponsored post she flicks past between stations.

Paint Juicy CONNECT turns that chase into a meeting. Built by Paint Juicy ("Paint"), CONNECT opens Paint's public paint and sip singalongs to local businesses, on terms the guests are genuinely happy about. This page is all Central Coast: how Paint builds a night around a partner anywhere from Woy Woy to The Entrance, who actually lives here, and how a Gosford, lakes or peninsula business could join the party. The wider story, plus the house rules every partnership plays by, sits on Paint Juicy CONNECT's home page for partners.

Why Paint Juicy CONNECT? Because Paint Juicy connects!

Few places put that line to work like the Coast does. Gosford City and Wyong Shire only became one council on 12/05/2016, according to Central Coast Council's agency information guide for 2023-2024, and the region is still stitched together by water: Brisbane Water at the southern end, Tuggerah Lake to the north, the Pacific running down the whole eastern edge. The same guide puts the council area at 1,681 square kilometres, roughly 90 kilometres north of Sydney and 80 kilometres south of Newcastle. That's a lot of shoreline for one message to cover.

A Paint night does the stitching for you. A mum from Umina, her sister from Toukley, three workmates off the same hospital roster and the friend who drives in from the hinterland all book together, sit together and spend up to 3 hours belting out the same choruses at the same moment. Put your business in that room and you stop being one more ad on the Coast. You become part of the night they're still laughing about at Monday smoko.

Connection is the whole product. Guests connect with each other, with the soundtrack of their younger years and, when a partnership is done properly, with the local names that made the night better. That last part is your seat at the table.

Pick the postcode, Paint brings the party: a Coast night built around your brand

Paint is fully mobile, so a Coast partnership never has to wait for a gap in someone else's calendar. Point to the suburbs your customers call home and Paint builds a night there, shaped around your business from the very first chat. The map is wide open: Woy Woy and Umina on the peninsula, Gosford on Brisbane Water, Terrigal by the surf, Wyong and The Entrance up around the lakes, and plenty of spots in between.

One night on your patch, or a Friday and Saturday pair

Some partners want a single night in the suburb their regulars call home. Others want the whole weekend: a Friday on the peninsula and a Saturday up at the lakes, for instance, so one campaign reaches both ends of the Coast in two evenings. A pair suits a business with branches north and south of Gosford, a brand launching something across the region, or anyone who simply can't pick a favourite end of the water.

The whole menu, open from day one

Arriving before the night exists has one big perk: nothing is locked yet. Your business can present the night, with its name on the listing and in the host's welcome. Your scene can be the artwork on every easel, painted by each guest and carried out under her arm, settled with you before a single ticket is released, because a Paint night is only listed once its artwork is ready. Stack on a spot in Paint's radio session, an offer in that night's Town Pass booklet and a street team working the town the day before, and the whole night points back to you. Every piece is checked against the venue before it's offered.

Locals keep tabs on Paint's Coast nights through the Wyong paint and sip calendar and the paint and sip nights at The Entrance.

Cessnock and Armidale showed what a NSW crowd does with the 70s and 80s

Before you put your name to a Coast night, look at what NSW crowds have already done. Paint counts every booking, and its public-night tally for the 24 months that closed on 10/10/2026 holds two NSW rooms worth framing. Cessnock, Friday 23/01/2026: a 70s and 80s Singalong with 110 guests booked. Armidale, up in New England, Friday 12/12/2025: another 70s and 80s Singalong, 101 guests booked.

Cessnock is the one a Coast business should circle. It's a Hunter town an hour or so up the road, and that room was packed with exactly the kind of guests who book Paint on the Coast: women out with their sisters, their mums, their workmates and the girls they went to school with, all there by choice and all ready to be loud.

Both rooms were built on the same two decades, and that's a recipe a Coast partner can borrow for their own night. Nobody can promise the size of a room before the night, and Paint never will. What a Coast partner can count on is the format that filled them, with Paint's hosts, Paint's singalong and up to 3 hours of undivided attention, set down wherever your customers live.

The full roll call, including the biggest room on it, out in Brisbane's west, lives on the big Paint nights list.

Who lives here: the Central Coast by the numbers

The Coast is big, grown-up and busy, and the figures back it. These come from the ABS (the 2021 Census and the 2024-25 regional population release), .id's economic profile for the Central Coast Council area and Destination NSW.

Nearly 358,000 neighbours

The ABS estimates the Central Coast Council area was home to 357,816 people at 30/06/2025, up 2,462 on the year before, in its regional population figures released 31/03/2026. That's a city-sized market strung along the water, which is exactly why getting a slice of it into one room matters.

A few birthdays ahead of NSW

At the 2021 Census the Coast's median age was 43, against 39 for New South Wales, and women made up 51.5 percent of its 346,596 residents. The same count found 10,545 locals aged 85 and over, 3.0 percent of the population compared with 2.3 percent statewide. Paint's crowd is mostly women, from thirty-somethings to ladies well into their eighties and nineties, which on the Coast describes a very large slice of the street.

Nurses, tradies and shop floors

No industry employs more people on the Coast than health care and social assistance: 30,719 of the area's 140,478 local jobs, or 21.9 percent, in 2022/23. Construction follows with 18,750 jobs, then retail with 15,949, education and training with 11,596 and accommodation and food with 11,289, on NIEIR's modelled figures published in .id's economic profile. Rosters, term dates and trading hours rarely line up, so a night booked weeks ahead with the whole crew feels like a small victory.

The weekday commuters

The same .id profile shows that at the 2021 Census, 36,355 working residents, 24.1 percent, lived on the Coast but worked outside the council area. Their weekdays belong somewhere else. Their evenings and weekends belong to the Coast, and that's exactly where a Paint night catches up with them.

Hosts to 5.9 million visitors

Destination NSW's figures for the Central Coast, year ending March 2026 and drawn from Tourism Research Australia data, put total visitors at 5.9 million, with 3.3 million of them day trippers. Among the 2.5 million domestic overnight visitors, 44 percent were there for friends and relatives. Locals are the hosts, the tour guides and the ones asked where to eat. Win them over and you're in the advice they hand out.

That last card is gold for anyone in hospitality, accommodation or attractions, and Paint's marketing ideas for tourism operators shows how to work the locals who do the recommending. If your best customers are the ones whose houses have just gone quiet, Paint's guide to advertising to empty nesters is worth ten minutes with a cuppa.

Picture your business in the room: Central Coast ideas to pinch

These are hypotheticals built on Coast business types, not past clients, and every one is a mix from the full CONNECT menu. Steal the shape, swap in your own business.

The hearing clinic that owns the trivia

Imagine a Gosford hearing or physio clinic sponsoring the trivia round while the second layer of paint dries. The host names the clinic, the questions lean hard into the 70s and 80s, and the table with the best memory takes home a prize earned on brains, not luck. On the way out, the clinic's Town Pass page invites guests to book a free check through its own QR code, so it can count every booking that comes from the night.

The peninsula agent on the radio

Picture a real estate agency in Woy Woy or Umina with a spot in Paint's radio session on a peninsula Friday. The session plays as doors open, while the singer takes a breather mid-night and again as coats go on, never over the host or the singalong. The agent's own voice, a line about life on Brisbane Water and a code for an appraisal. See how radio session spots are made and placed.

The local brewer with an opt-in tasting

Imagine a Coast brewery or distillery pouring at an opt-in demo bar tucked into a corner of a Wyong Saturday room. It's there for anyone curious, no one gets a sales pitch at their easel, and every pour needs the venue's approval, runs under the venue's licence and goes to guests 18 and over only. A card in every goodie bag carries the brand home. The fine print sits with sampling, tastings and goodie bag options.

The garden centre that sends a crew out first

Picture a garden and homewares store with branches around the Coast. The day before a night at The Entrance, a street team works the nearby shopping strip, giving adults a pocket-sized card carrying a store code and directions to the closest branch. Next night the same code appears in the Town Pass, so the store can count exactly what the double hit brought through the door.

The heritage name on the canvas

Imagine a family business with decades on the Coast presenting a Gosford night from the first conversation, with a Brisbane Water sunset as the sponsored artwork and its name a quiet detail guests are proud to hang. The scene is settled with the business before the night is listed, so the people who've served the Coast longest get to shape what the room paints.

Trading up and down the motorway? A regional campaign across the Coast and beyond can run one idea through several towns at once, and the Hunter towns further north have their own page at advertise in Newcastle and the Hunter.

Why your message lands in a room full of singing

Think about where your Coast customer meets advertising right now. The car radio on the M1, competing with the traffic report and her own to-do list. The phone on the train, where your sponsored post sits between two group chats and a recipe she'll never make. The letterbox drop, which reaches the recycling bin before the kettle boils. Every one of those channels is fighting the noise of her life.

Paint contains the noise. She chose the night, paid for it, rounded up her people and set aside up to 3 hours for it. She isn't driving and she isn't scrolling, mostly because her hands are covered in paint. When your spot plays between tracks, it plays to a room that's actually listening. When your name comes up on one of Paint's new screens, a whole table looks up together. When your sample comes round, she tastes it right there, with her best friend weighing in.

That matters on a Coast where ABS business counts, published in .id's economic profile, show 26,266 registered businesses in 2023, all after the same locals. Paint lays out the thinking under how Paint contains the noise.

Afterwards you get a proof pack, not a pep talk. It spells out each piece Paint delivered and when, counts the paid seats your brand reached, and attaches proof to every line. Every paid partnership is disclosed to guests, no guest data ever changes hands, and guests who'd like to hear more raise their hand through your own offer.

What Coast business owners ask before they sign on

Our customers are spread from Umina to Budgewoi. Where should our night go?

Start with your own customer map. A night in Woy Woy or Umina puts you in front of the peninsula and the southern end of Brisbane Water. Gosford and Terrigal sit in the middle of the Coast, while Wyong and The Entrance are closer to the lakes and the northern suburbs. If your customers truly are everywhere, back a Friday and Saturday pair at opposite ends with a separate code for each, and the codes will tell you whether the peninsula or the lakes answered louder. Paint will help you split it sensibly.

Can we choose where and when our Coast night happens?

That's the whole idea. Tell us the town, the time of year that matters to your business and the customers you most want in the room, and Paint builds a night around you, with the decades on the playlist picked for your crowd. A pre-Christmas push, a winter warm-up or a launch you've been sitting on can all set the timing. The earlier we talk, the more of the night carries your fingerprints, from the canvas on every easel to the host's welcome.

We'd love our name on a night, or our scene on the canvas. Is that possible?

Yes, from day one. Because you're on board before the night has a date or a venue, presenting the night and sponsoring its artwork are both open from the first conversation. Both get locked in early, because tickets only go on sale once the canvas is finished. The scene must be something guests would proudly hang at home, a Terrigal headland or a Brisbane Water sunset, say, with your brand a whisper rather than a shout.

A lot of our customers commute to Sydney. Will they make it to a Paint night?

Build the night for them. A Friday or Saturday evening finds commuters back on home turf with the week behind them, and a Paint night meets them where they live rather than where they work. Pair it with a Town Pass offer that stays open well after the night, and you give them a reason to spend a Saturday morning with you instead of somewhere near the office.

We make wine, beer or spirits on the Coast. Can we pour at a night?

Possibly, through an opt-in demo bar. Three things must line up: the venue approves it, every pour happens under the venue's own licence, and alcohol goes to guests 18 and over only. Visiting is entirely up to each guest, nobody is approached at their seat, and the singalong always comes first. If a venue can't say yes, a goodie bag card or a radio session spot can still carry your brand home.

How will we know whether a Coast night worked for us?

Your proof pack lands after the night. It itemises everything Paint ran for you, dates each piece, gives the paid seat count it played to and attaches the evidence. Your own results arrive through your own channels: a QR code, a booking link or a unique Town Pass code for that night, counted at your counter. Guest data stays with Paint, always, and nobody hears from you unless they opt in through your offer. Clear records, no fairy tales.
