“The whole room felt like joy!!”
Thermie Carmie, five-star Google review
Disco bangers, Halloween hits, step-by-step painting and a costume-clad crowd. Halloween Saturday just got a serious upgrade. You leave with a finished canvas and a sore voice.
Good to know: 18 and over. Strictly no under 18s.

What this session is
This is not a quiet paint session. This is a Paint Juicy session with the dial cranked to Halloween. Expect disco anthems, Halloween classics, costumes everywhere and a room full of people laughing at their canvases by the second hour.
The host guides every brushstroke on the mic. Lotti Rem is on live vocals from the opening track to the last detail on the canvas. Natural breaks between layers give everyone time to grab a drink, take photos and catch their breath before the next disco-Halloween moment hits.
Haunted vibes, disco beats, costumes encouraged, spooky cocktails at the bar (and a Halloween-themed soft drinks list if you are not drinking). If you are looking for a Halloween Saturday that is a little bit different, this is your sign. Arrive early and settle in before painting starts. Can't make this one? See every Gold Coast paint and sip session we have coming up.
What You're Painting
Grave Groove
A gold and silver disco ball hangs where the moon should be, glowing hot pink and lilac into a swirling purple night sky. Below it, black headstones and leaning crosses line the bottom of the canvas, a bare branch claws in from the left and a single bat cuts across the light. You start with the swirling sky, build the glow, then lay the disco ball grid in gold. The silhouettes are the last layer and the most satisfying, big confident black strokes that snap the whole thing into focus. Moody, mischievous and far more impressive than you are expecting.

Before you arrive
Arrive a few minutes early. Dublin Docks Tavern has food and drinks available, including the spooky cocktail list and a Halloween-themed soft drinks menu if you are not drinking. Get settled in, grab a drink and find your seat before painting starts.
This session is strictly 18 and over. Every guest needs to be 18 or older, no exceptions.
Costumes are absolutely encouraged. Witches, vampires, disco zombies, Thriller jackets, full Beetlejuice, whatever you have got. The cheekier the better. Out of costume is fine too, zero judgement.
Wear something you do not mind painting in, or layer the costume so the apron fits over the top. We supply aprons but acrylic paint is enthusiastic and occasionally ambitious.
Tickets are online only. They are not sold at the door.
Buying this as a gift? We have gift cards that never expire.

FAQs
Do I have to dress up?
No, but costumes are absolutely encouraged. Witches, vampires, disco zombies, Thriller jackets, full Beetlejuice, anything goes. If costumes aren't your thing, come as you are. No judgement.
Is this session 18+?
Yes, strictly. This session is 18 and over and every guest needs to be 18 or older.
Do I need painting experience?
Not at all. We guide every step from blank canvas to finished painting. If you last picked up a brush in primary school, you are overqualified.
What am I painting?
Grave Groove. A giant disco ball glowing where the moon should be, a swirling purple sky, silhouette headstones along the bottom and a bat mid-flight. Every guest paints the same artwork, guided step by step, and every canvas still ends up looking like its owner.
Is singing optional?
Technically yes. Realistically you will not resist. Lotti Rem on live vocals and a disco-Halloween playlist make sure of that.
Is this good for a birthday or group celebration?
Halloween birthdays and group celebrations work brilliantly. Add a note at checkout if you are celebrating and we will give the guest of honour a shout out on the day. For a fully private Halloween session just for your group, get in touch via the contact page.
Can I come alone?
Yes. Many people do. We seat you with other friendly humans so you are part of the fun from the first song.
Can groups who book separately sit together?
Yes. Add a note at checkout with the name of your group and we will seat you together.
Where do I buy tickets?
Right here on the Paint Juicy website. Tickets are not sold at the door.
Want a private session instead?
We run private paint and sip sessions for hens nights, birthdays and work groups. Minimum 10 guests. Enquire here.
