Newsletter Advertising With Paint JuicyA Few Spots, a Warm Inbox

Why Paint Juicy CONNECT? Because Paint Juicy connects!

We are the original Nostalgic Remakers

Queensland and New South Wales · 42,000+ guests · 4.9 stars on Google

Newsletter advertising with Paint Juicy puts your business inside the email women open to find their next night out. Each send carries a few clearly labelled partner spots, and only a few, so yours never has to elbow its way through a catalogue of logos. Tight space, warm inbox, good timing: she's reading because she's already planning something fun.

This is the close-up on email. Our guide to advertising across all of Paint's channels puts every media option side by side, and the Paint Juicy CONNECT hub shows how brands turn up inside the nights themselves. Here, it's all inbox: how spots are sold, what they carry and how they team up with the room.

The inbox where she plans her next big night

A lot of marketing email arrives uninvited, or close enough to it. Paint's newsletter works on a different footing. People sign up because they want to know when a Paint night is heading their way, so when an edition lands she isn't clearing clutter. She's checking dates, forwarding the link to her sister and starting a group chat about which Friday everyone can actually do.

That's the mood your spot walks into. She's deciding what to wear and where to grab dinner first. A salon, a boutique, a cellar door or a coastal stay slots straight into that plan without raising its voice.

And the nights she's reading about are anything but sleepy. Springfield packed 151 guests into a single room. Currumbin and Sunshine Beach followed with 120 and 117 on back-to-back April Fridays. The people reading it are the same women filling the rooms, which is rather the point.

Email newsletter advertising in Queensland and NSW, sold like a city guide

If you've ever bought space in a city-guide newsletter, the sort that tells a whole city where to eat and drink this weekend, you know the model. A publisher with a loyal list sells a few fixed positions per edition, and the price follows how many inboxes the edition reaches. Paint works the same way.

You book by impressions. One impression is one delivered email with your spot inside it, counted edition by edition. No follower count in an email costume, no pass-along multiplier. Delivered emails, with the date beside the number.

Launch rates, quoted to your brief

Newsletter placements are new for Paint, and we're building the verified platform data a careful media buyer expects. Until that track record exists, spots are offered at launch rates, quoted per booking. Your quote names the edition, the position and the delivered-email figure it's based on, plus the day that figure was checked.

No rate card sits on this page, on purpose: a number online goes stale fast, and you deserve one that's true on the day you book. Fees are paid in money. Product can sweeten a campaign, but it can't cover the bill.

Why we keep it to a few spots a send

Every newsletter faces the same temptation: one more ad, then another, until the email reads like a junk-mail catalogue and readers quietly stop opening it. We'd rather sell fewer spots and keep the email worth reading.

Keeping the count low does three practical things for you:

  • Your spot reads as a message, not one tile in a wall of logos.
  • There's breathing room between partners, so nobody else's offer muddies yours.
  • Positions are finite, so brands that know their busy season get first pick of the edition that suits them.

Fewer spots keep the email worth opening, which is good for her and better for you.

Content standards every spot has to meet

Every partner spot passes the same checks before an edition goes out, so the email stays one she trusts. That trust is the only reason your spot is worth having.

Labelled, every time

Every spot wears a clear partner label, kept well away from Paint's own news. The AANA Code of Ethics (valid from 01/02/2021) says at 2.7 that advertising shall be clearly distinguishable as such, and readers deserve to know who paid to be there.

Claims that hold up

If your spot says freshest, fastest or favourite in town, we'll ask how you know. Paint's name travels with every word you send, so a claim needs evidence behind it or it gets softened before the send.

No pressure tactics

No countdown clocks, no pretend "only two left", no shouty capitals. A spot can invite, remind or tempt. It can't push.

No entry forms, no games of chance

A spot never carries a competition entry, a survey or a sign-up box. Where a prize turns up anywhere in a CONNECT partnership, it's won on skill, never by luck.

Categories we turn away

Some categories never appear in a Paint newsletter, whatever the budget, from gambling and betting to payday lending. The full list sits with our brand safety and guest-first rules.

No. 05

No forms in the spot, no lists changing hands

Your spot links to one place: your own website, booking page or offer. There's no sign-up box inside the email and no co-registration tick box tucked in the footer. The spot's job is to make her curious. The click is hers to give.

Paint never shares guest or subscriber data. Not names, not email addresses, not a list of who clicked. Want her on your own list? Invite her on your own page with your own clear consent, and give the offer a unique code so you can count the response.

Once she opts in to hear from you, Australian spam rules cover what you send her. ACMA's guidance on marketing messages says a sender needs consent first, must include their contact details and has to offer a way to unsubscribe. That's general information, not legal advice, so check the detail with ACMA or your adviser.

Better together: the inbox and the room

A newsletter spot works on its own. It's at its strongest, though, when it echoes something she met in person, because a name she has already held in her hand reads very differently in her inbox a few days later.

Here's how a pairing could look, purely as examples:

  • Picture a day spa with a voucher card in every goodie bag at a Paint night. A local tile in the next regional edition reminds her the voucher is still in her handbag. The room half lives on our page about product sampling and goodie bags.
  • Picture a winery whose label is painted into the night's canvas. A feature spot afterwards shows off the finished canvases and invites readers 18 and over to the cellar door. Sponsored artwork explains how a brand ends up on the easel.
  • Picture a boutique presenting a whole night. A presented-by edition before it, plus a host thank-you on the night, puts the same name in front of her twice. Our page on presented-by nights and in-room moments covers the room side.

One rule holds when you pair them. A woman who painted with you on Friday and opened the email on Tuesday is one woman, not two. Paid seats and delivered emails sit in separate columns of your report, never added up into a bigger headline.

What to send us, and what comes back

Booking a newsletter spot is a short conversation. To get a useful quote, send us:

  • The job you want the spot to do: be known, be visited or be remembered.
  • The towns or regions you trade in across Queensland and New South Wales.
  • Your artwork, logo and a few lines of key message, sized to read on a phone.
  • The single link you want her to land on, plus the unique code you'll count.

We'll come back with the editions and positions that fit, a launch-rate quote and the dated figure behind it. If the inbox won't earn its keep for your business, we'll say so before you spend a cent. The full path from brief to proof pack sits on our page about how Paint Juicy CONNECT works.

After the send, the proof lands: the count of delivered emails with your spot in them, the clicks, and a screenshot of every edition. Everything after the click is yours to count. We don't promise sales. We promise what we deliver, and we show the evidence.

Questions brands ask before booking an inbox spot

How is newsletter advertising with Paint priced?

By impressions, meaning delivered emails that carry your spot, counted per edition. While Paint builds a track record of verified platform data for its newsletter, spots are sold at launch rates, quoted for your brief rather than listed on a page. Your quote names the edition, the position and the dated figure it's based on. Payment is always money, even when product joins the campaign too.

Can we see subscriber numbers or open rates before we book?

Your proposal shows the delivered-email figure your quote is based on, dated and named for exactly what it counts. We don't sell on open rates, because privacy features in some mail apps count an open automatically, so opens flatter the real picture. And if email is the wrong tool for the job, you'll hear that from us, along with the format that would suit.

Can our spot collect sign-ups or run a competition?

No. A newsletter spot links to your own website, booking page or offer, and that's where any relationship begins. Paint's emails carry no entry forms, surveys or co-registration boxes, and Paint never shares subscriber or guest details with anyone. If you want her on your list, invite her on your own page with your own consent, and use a unique code to count the response yourself.

Can we advertise only to readers in one state or region?

Often, yes. CONNECT covers Queensland and New South Wales, and where an edition is sent by region, your spot can sit only in the emails heading to the area you trade in. Some editions go to every reader, and your quote will say which kind you're buying.

Do we need a Paint night as well, or can we book the newsletter on its own?

You can book the newsletter on its own. Plenty of businesses, from services to online stores, suit an inbox spot without ever setting foot in a venue. If you want the room too, a spot can echo a goodie bag voucher, a sponsored canvas or a presented-by night, so she meets your name twice. Pairing is always your choice, never a condition of booking.
