What this night is
This is not a hushed little painting workshop. This is a Paint Juicy night. Big energy, bigger music, and a room laughing at its own canvases by the second hour.
Lotti Rem is on live vocals the whole way through, so the singalong is a real voice leading the room rather than a playlist and a hopeful nudge. Your host guides every brushstroke on the mic, so nobody gets stranded at step four. Natural breaks between layers give everyone time to grab a drink, take photos and get their breath back before the next big chorus lands.
Early December in Corinda is prime silly season territory. Work crews who would rather do anything than stand around a function room, friend groups, mums and daughters, they all end up in the same room singing the same chorus. Dress ups are welcomed and the 70s gear in particular never misses. Tinsel also counts.

Such a Hoot
A wide eyed little owl perches on a branch, all teal and blue feathers with flecks of green, gold and lilac running through a very fluffy chest. The eyes are the showstopper and they are nowhere near as hard as they look, because they go on in three simple layers. Warm apricot washes the background, olive leaves sit above and burnt orange autumn leaves frame the base. The very last thing you add is a pair of white highlights, and that is the moment the whole cheeky face wakes up.

Before you arrive
Arrive a few minutes early. Corinda Tavern has a bar and a bistro, so sort your drinks and find your seat before painting starts at 6pm.
Wear clothes you do not mind painting in. We supply aprons but acrylic paint is enthusiastic and occasionally ambitious.
Dress ups are absolutely welcomed. Flares, sequins, denim and anything your mum wore to a blue light disco.
Tickets are online only and they are not sold at the door, so book before the night.

Who is singing?
Lotti Rem is on live vocals for the full session, working the 70s and 80s catalogue while you paint. Live singing, not a speaker in the corner.
Is singing along optional?
Technically yes. Realistically you will not resist. Expect call and response moments and choruses you forgot you knew every word to.
Can I book this for our work Christmas party?
Yes. Book the seats you need in one go and we will keep the team together. If you would rather have the room to yourselves, ask us about a private session.
Is this good for a hens or birthday group?
Absolutely. Hens nights and birthdays are the two most common private bookings we run. Add a note at checkout if you are celebrating and we will give the guest of honour a shout out on the night.
Can I come alone?
Yes, and plenty of people do. We seat you with other friendly humans so you are part of it from the first song.
Can groups who book separately sit together?
Yes. Add a note at checkout with the name of your group and we will seat you together.
Can I BYO food or drinks?
No BYO. Corinda Tavern has a bar and a bistro, so food and drinks are available to buy on the night.
