Real nights, real canvases
Painted by real guests
Every one of these Lavender Fields canvases was painted by a guest at a Paint Juicy night, one step at a time, somewhere between the singalongs. No art skills needed. Yours is next.

Songs you might be singing
- Dancing Queen, ABBA
- Don't Stop Me Now, Queen
- I Will Survive, Gloria Gaynor
- Total Eclipse of the Heart, Bonnie Tyler

- Footloose, Kenny Loggins
Every night's playlist is a little different, so treat this as the vibe, not the setlist.
Western Sydney, your Saturday starts early. Lotti Rem is live on the mic at the Pioneer Tavern from 5pm, belting disco, glam and pub rock while a lavender field at sunset blooms across your easel. Walk out with a finished canvas, a hoarse voice and the whole evening still ahead of you.
Good to know: 18+ only. No BYO, full bar and bistro on site.
Recognised as a Best of Queensland Experience every year since 2022
What this night is
Penrith, find your flares. We are taking over the Pioneer Tavern for a Saturday singalong that leans hard on two decades of glorious excess: mirror-ball disco, glam rock stomps, Aussie pub anthems built for shouting, and the kind of synth-drenched 80s power ballad that makes a whole table grab an imaginary microphone at once.
Lotti Rem sings live from the opening number to the final chorus. A real voice in the room is what turns a few nervous hums into a full pub harmony, usually somewhere around the second song. Your host talks you through the painting one easy stage at a time, and each time a layer needs to dry, you top up and sing louder.
Round up your sisters, the netball team, the mums from school pick-up or the work crew that keeps saying they should do something. Coming on your own? We will pop you beside a friendly bunch and you will be swapping harmonies before the sky is dry.
The 5pm start means brushes are down by about 8pm, with plenty of Saturday night left over. It is a quick trip from Jamisontown, Glenmore Park, Emu Plains, Kingswood, Orchard Hills and South Penrith. Food is well and truly sorted: the Pioneer's bistro serves right through Saturday, with pub favourites and schnitzels you can load up from 21 different toppers, and the bar pours beer on tap, cider, wine and spirits. Come early and eat first, or grab a table straight after and keep the night rolling. Keen for more? The following weekend we swap to the 80s and 90s at our Quakers Hill singalong. Every Penrith date sits on our Penrith events page, more nights from the same two decades are in 70s and 80s singalong sessions, and the whole state calendar lives on our NSW events.
Tonight's Artwork
Lavender Fields
It opens with the sky: apricot fading up into hot pink, laid on in broad, easy sweeps while the first song gets the room moving. A stand of gum trees rises on the left while a pale sun sinks into the blue hills on the right. Then come the rows, line after line of lavender in violet, plum and lilac, narrowing as they head for the horizon so the field looks like it runs for kilometres. The finish is the best bit: little dabs of pink and cream on the tips where the last light lands. No careful outlines, no tricky drawing, just a loaded brush and a bit of confidence. It looks calm on the wall, even if the room that made it was anything but.

"We had a ball, singing and painting in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you so much. Awesome teachers to lead through step by step. Singing with Lotti out loud with no judgement. So much fun."

Before you arrive
Come hungry. The Pioneer's bistro is open all day Saturday, so order a schnitzel and a drink and be at your easel a few minutes before 5pm.
Leave the good white top at home. You get an apron, but violet paint loves a cuff.
Dress ups win the room. Bell bottoms, leg warmers, a disco jumpsuit, a perm with real conviction. Choose your decade and own it.
Seats are sold online only, never at the door, so lock yours in before the night.
Buying this as a gift? We have gift cards that never expire.

Grab a drink, find your easel and settle in. Canvas, paints, brushes and apron are already waiting for you.
Lotti kicks off the first song live and your host gets the apricot and pink sky onto the canvas.
Trees, then lavender rows, with bar runs, photos and the biggest choruses of the night slotted in while each layer dries.
Final dabs of light, a group photo, and out the door around 8pm with a sunset under your arm and Saturday night still going.
FAQs
Who is singing?
Lotti Rem, live for the full session, working through the 70s and 80s while you paint. You and your table handle the backing vocals.
What are we painting?
Lavender Fields: a hot pink and apricot sky over row after row of violet lavender, gum trees on the left and the sun setting on the right. Prefer a lilac sky or blue lavender? Mention it when you sit down and your host will tweak the palette for you, no charge.
Do I have to sing?
Not at all. We will just say that very few people make it through the first big chorus without joining in.
What time does it finish?
Painting starts at 5pm and runs up to 3 hours, so you are finished by about 8pm.
I have never painted. Is that okay?
Completely. The field is built from short, simple dabs and every stage is shown on the mic first, so beginners finish with a canvas they are happy to hang.
Can we bring a birthday or a hens crew?
Bring them all. Write the guest of honour's name in your checkout notes and the whole room will give them a proper cheer.
Can I come by myself?
Yes. Solo bookings are common, and we will put you next to a friendly group.
Our group is booking on separate orders. Can we sit together?
Yes. Put the same group name in the checkout notes on every order and we will keep your easels together.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No BYO, but you will not go hungry or thirsty. The Pioneer Tavern has a full bar and a bistro, serving pub favourites and loaded schnitzels, so eat at the tavern before the session or grab a table straight after.
Can we book a private session instead?
Yes. Private sessions are $700 AUD flat for the first 10 guests and $65 per additional guest, with a minimum of 10 paid guests. Send us the details and we will sort a date.
Where do I buy tickets?
Right here on the Paint Juicy website. Tickets are online only and are not sold at the door.
