70s & 80s Singalong Paint and Sip 14th November Wyong NSW 6pm
“The whole room felt like joy!!”
Thermie Carmie, five-star Google review
Real nights, real canvases
Painted by real guests
Every one of these Lavender Sunset canvases was painted by a guest at a Paint Juicy night, one step at a time, somewhere between the singalongs. No art skills needed. Yours is next.
Mixtape mood
Songs you might be singing
- Dancing Queen, ABBA
- Don't Stop Me Now, Queen
- I Will Survive, Gloria Gaynor
- Total Eclipse of the Heart, Bonnie Tyler
- Down Under, Men at Work
- Footloose, Kenny Loggins
Every night's playlist is a little different, so treat this as the vibe, not the setlist.
Wyong, get ready. 70s and 80s bangers, step by step painting, singalong moments with Lotti live on the mic and a room full of people who know every word. You leave with a finished canvas and a sore voice.
Good to know: 18+ only. No BYO, bar at venue.

What this night is
On 14 November we're bringing a 70s and 80s singalong paint and sip to Wyong Golf Club, with painting from 6pm and Lotti live on the mic for the lot. You'll paint a lavender field at golden hour while a room full of Central Coasters works out exactly how many words of their favourite power ballad they still remember.
The 70s end of the catalogue leans on disco and the records that lived on the lounge room turntable. The 80s brings pub rock and big-haired anthems built for a room to shout back at. Requests are taken through the night, so if there's one song you've been waiting decades to belt out in public, have it ready.
It's a cracking pick for the girls' night that has been stuck in the group chat since winter, and just as good for a couple who want a Saturday that isn't dinner and a movie. Coming solo works too, because you're seated with other guests and the singing breaks the ice faster than any small talk. Lotti leads the choruses and your host walks you through every layer of the painting, so nobody needs to be a painter or a singer to have a ripper of a night.
Pacific Par Bistro at the club does dinner, so come in early, eat with a view over the greens and have a drink in hand before the first brushstroke. The club sits on the Pacific Highway in Wyong, an easy drive from Tuggerah, Kanwal, Wyongah, Watanobbi and Ourimbah, and not much further from The Entrance, Toukley or Lake Haven. Coming from further afield, the club puts it at about 15 minutes off the M1 at the Wyong exit.
Busy that Saturday? The Peninsula gets a night of its own the evening before at Woy Woy on Friday 13 November, and Wyong has another round in January on the Wyong paint and sip page. Everything else coming up is listed under NSW paint and sip events.
Tonight's Artwork
Lavender Sunset
Rows of lavender roll toward the horizon while the sun melts into a sky of hot pink, coral and soft lilac. A little stand of trees sits off to one side, the fields catch the last of the warm light in dabs of purple, blush and cream, and the whole scene glows. The palette is pure golden hour magic, deep violet, warm sunset orange, blush pink and soft cream highlights that make the lavender come alive. Loose, bright and far more achievable than it looks. You will want to hang this one the moment it dries.

Before you arrive
Arrive early. Wyong Golf Club has food and drinks ready before the session kicks off. Come in for a feed, grab a drink and settle in before we start at 6pm.
Wear clothes you do not mind painting in. We supply aprons but acrylic paint is enthusiastic and occasionally ambitious.
Dress ups are absolutely welcomed. 70s and 80s gear gets a massive reaction from the room. Flares, sequins, big hair, denim, go absolutely for it.
Tickets are online only. They are not sold at the door. If you haven't bought yours yet, grab it online before the night.
Buying this as a gift? We have gift cards that never expire.

FAQs
Who's singing on the night?
Lotti, live on the mic from start to finish, singing the 70s and 80s hits while you paint. Requests are taken too, so speak up if there's a song you're desperate to hear.
Which artwork are we painting?
Lavender Sunset. Rows of lavender run toward a hot pink and coral sky, with a small stand of trees off to one side and cream highlights catching the last of the light. It's loose and forgiving, so a wobbly row just looks like more lavender.
What time do we start and finish?
Painting kicks off at 6pm and the session can run up to 3 hours, which puts the last brushstroke at around 9pm.
Do I need to be any good at painting?
No. Your host demonstrates each layer and you copy along one step at a time. Plenty of guests arrive convinced they can't draw a stick figure and head home with a canvas they're happy to hang.
Is singing compulsory?
Not at all, though a good power ballad has a way of changing people's minds. Hum along or just enjoy everyone else giving it a red hot go.
Can I book just for myself?
Yes, and lots of people do. We'll seat you with other guests so you've got company at the easel and someone to take the harmonies.
Can friends on separate bookings sit together?
They can. Settle on a group name in the group chat, then everybody pops it into the "sitting with friends" note during checkout and we'll keep you together.
Is BYO allowed?
No BYO at Wyong Golf Club. The club has its own bar, and Pacific Par Bistro serves dinner if you'd like to eat before we start.
Can we bring the hens or the birthday crew?
Please do. Leave a note at checkout with who's celebrating and they'll get a shout-out on the night, which usually earns a very loud cheer.
Where are tickets sold?
Online only, on this page. We don't sell tickets at the door, so lock in your seat before Saturday.
Could we book a private session?
You can. Your first 10 guests are covered by a flat $700 AUD and anyone extra is $65 each. Bookings start at 10 paid seats. Pick any artwork from our catalogue and we'll adjust the colours or details free of charge. Find out about private sessions.
