80s & 90s Singalong Paint and Sip 22nd January The Entrance NSW 6pm
“The whole room felt like joy!!”
Thermie Carmie, five-star Google review
Real nights, real canvases
Painted by real guests
Every one of these Lavender Sunset canvases was painted by a guest at a Paint Juicy night, one step at a time, somewhere between the singalongs. No art skills needed. Yours is next.

Songs you might be singing
- Livin' on a Prayer, Bon Jovi
- I Wanna Dance with Somebody, Whitney Houston
- Don't Stop Believin', Journey
- Wannabe, Spice Girls
- ...Baby One More Time, Britney Spears
- Torn, Natalie Imbruglia
Every night's playlist is a little different, so treat this as the vibe, not the setlist.
Our first ever night at The Entrance, and we are kicking off the weekend at Diggers. A live singer belting out the biggest hits of the 80s and 90s, a fiery lavender sunset on your easel, and a Friday that ends with you holding a canvas and wondering when exactly you learnt every word to that song.
Good to know: 18+ only. No BYO, restaurant and bars on site.
Recognised as a Best of Queensland Experience every year since 2022
What this night is
The Entrance has had the pelicans, the channel and the lake all to itself for long enough. Now it gets a Friday night singalong. We are taking over Diggers for a 6pm start, and the soundtrack is two decades of bangers: power ballads with hair to match, dance floor fillers you will swear you are too old for, the Aussie pub anthem everyone shouts at full volume, and one chorus so cheesy your table will pretend to hate it right up until they are on their feet.
The music is live the whole way through. Having an actual singer in the room changes the energy completely: shy humming turns into full-throated backing vocals inside two songs. Meanwhile your host walks you through the painting one easy layer at a time, and every pause for drying time doubles as a chance to sing louder.
Grab the netball girls, your sister-in-law, the neighbours you keep meaning to have over, or the whole office. Rolling up solo is completely fine too. We will pop you next to a cheerful crew and you will have new mates by the second chorus.
Diggers is right on The Entrance Road, an easy trip from Long Jetty, Toowoon Bay, Bateau Bay, Killarney Vale, Shelly Beach and Berkeley Vale. Food is sorted too: the club restaurant and bars are open, so make it dinner and a show. Making a Central Coast weekend of it? The very next night we are at Wyong Golf Club for round two. Every date at The Entrance lives on The Entrance events page, the same two decades play out at our 80s and 90s singalongs, and every date statewide is on our NSW events.
Tonight's Artwork
Lavender Sunset
This one is all heat on top and cool underneath. The sky burns from blazing red down through orange into gold, with a pale sun sinking behind a ridge of soft lilac hills and a couple of wispy clouds drifting across. Below it, rows and rows of lavender in violet, indigo and lilac race toward the horizon, every row flicked with little cream and lemon dabs where the last light lands. The rows do the hard work of making it look deep and dramatic, and those dabs are pure fun, so it comes together quicker than you would ever guess. Hang it anywhere and it will light up the wall.

"An extremely fun and slightly inappropriate activity, that will have you laughing and believing you can paint better than you actually can."

Before you arrive
Knock off early and eat at the club first. Order your dinner and a drink, then find your seat with a few minutes to spare before 6pm.
Dress for mess, not for the gram. You get an apron, but purple has a habit of turning up on elbows.
Throwback outfits earn a roar from the room. Choker necklaces, oversized blazers, high-waisted mum jeans, glitter gel in your hair. Commit to the bit.
We only sell seats through this website, never on the night, so book before Friday rolls around.
Buying this as a gift? We have gift cards that never expire.
Buy a Gift CardHow the night runs
Settle in at your easel. Canvas, brushes, paints and apron are already sitting there waiting for you.
The singer opens with a belter while your host gets that red and gold sky onto the canvas in big, sweeping strokes.
Hills, rows, then highlights, with drink runs and the loudest choruses of the night slotted in between each layer.
Final dabs of light, a big group photo, and off you go into the Friday night with a sunset under your arm.
FAQs
Who is providing the music?
A live singer, performing 80s and 90s hits for the full session. Your job is the backing vocals.
What are we painting?
Lavender Sunset: a red and gold sky, a setting sun behind lilac hills and rows of lavender running to the horizon. Fancy a pink sky or blue hills instead? Just ask your host on the night, colour changes are free.
Is singing compulsory?
Not even slightly. We just cannot promise you will hold out past the first big chorus.
When does it finish?
Brushes go up at 6pm and the night is done by around 9pm.
I cannot paint. Is that a problem?
No problem at all. Each stage is shown on the mic before you start it, and the lavender rows are simple repeated strokes, so total beginners finish with a sunset they are proud to hang.
Can we bring a birthday girl or a bride-to-be?
Bring her along. Pop her name in your checkout notes so we can make sure she gets her moment in front of the room.
Is it okay to come alone?
Absolutely. Lots of people do, and we will seat you with a fun bunch.
Our group is buying tickets separately. Will we be together?
Yes. Use the same group name in the checkout notes on each order and we will seat you as one crew.
Can I bring my own drinks?
No BYO. Diggers has a restaurant and bars, so grab what you need there.
Can we book a private session instead?
Yes. Private sessions are $700 AUD flat for the first 10 guests and $65 per additional guest, with a minimum of 10 paid guests. Send us the details and we will sort a date.
Where do I buy tickets?
Right here on the Paint Juicy website. Tickets are online only and are not sold at the door.
