80s & 90s Singalong Paint and Sip 24th January Quakers Hill NSW 1pm
“The whole room felt like joy!!”
Thermie Carmie, five-star Google review
Real nights, real canvases
Painted by real guests
Every one of these Red Peacock canvases was painted by a guest at a Paint Juicy night, one step at a time, somewhere between the singalongs. No art skills needed. Yours is next.
Mixtape mood
Songs you might be singing
- Livin' on a Prayer, Bon Jovi
- I Wanna Dance with Somebody, Whitney Houston
- Don't Stop Believin', Journey
- Wannabe, Spice Girls
- ...Baby One More Time, Britney Spears
- Torn, Natalie Imbruglia
Every night's playlist is a little different, so treat this as the vibe, not the setlist.
Sunday afternoon at Quakers Inn is about to get loud. Lotti Rem on live vocals, a setlist stacked with the songs you taped off the radio, and a red peacock on your easel that looks far harder than it is. Up to 3 hours, one canvas and a chorus you will still be humming on Monday.
Good to know: 18+ only. No BYO, bistro and bar on site.
Recognised as a Best of Queensland Experience every year since 2022
What this afternoon is
Western Sydney, this one has your name on it. We are taking over Quakers Inn for a Sunday singalong that kicks off at 1pm, so you get the drinks, the dancing and the masterpiece while the sun is still up, and the whole evening is yours afterwards. On the menu: big hair pop, frosted tip boy bands and their key changes, the girl group dance routine you still half remember, and the power ballad your table will attempt in full whether or not anyone can actually hit the note.
Lotti Rem is on the mic all afternoon, and a real voice in the room changes everything. Nobody is murmuring along to a speaker in the corner. The whole room sings back. Between songs your host breaks the painting into easy stages, and every pause while the paint dries is when the singing gets loudest.
Round up the netball team, your sister and her best friend, or the group chat that has been definitely doing something soon since winter. Flying solo works too. Book a seat and we will put you beside good people.
You are done by 4pm. Quakers Inn is a few minutes on foot from Quakers Hill station, a short hop from Schofields, Acacia Gardens, Kings Langley and Stanhope Gardens, and well worth the drive from Riverstone. The decade's other dates live under 80s and 90s singalong sessions, and everything happening across the state is on our NSW events.
Today's Artwork
The Red Peacock
It starts with heat. You flood the canvas with a red so bold it practically hums, while the opening songs get everyone loose. Then the peacock arrives, all cobalt and inky navy, posing side on with the confidence of a bird that has never once doubted its outfit. Last comes the tail, swishes of green and gold swept across the canvas, finished with a bright yellow eye dotted into every feather. Bold shapes, bright colour and nothing fiddly, so it looks gallery ready even if the last thing you painted was the back fence.

Before you arrive
Rock up 15 minutes early, order a drink at the bar and get comfy before painting kicks off at 1pm.
Wear something you would not cry over. We hand out aprons, but red paint has a way of finding sleeves.
Dress ups are very welcome. Fluoro, crimped hair, bucket hats, a pair of platform sneakers if you never threw them out. Go all in.
Tickets are online only and never sold at the door, so book your seat before Sunday rolls around.
Buying this as a gift? We have gift cards that never expire.
Buy a Gift CardHow the session runs
Arrive, get a drink in hand and find your easel. Paints, brushes and apron are sitting there ready for you.
Your host says g'day, Lotti Rem launches the first song and that bold red sky goes down.
Pauses between layers for refills, selfies and the choruses nobody admits they still know by heart.
Final feathers, group photo, and out you go into the Sunday arvo with a peacock under your arm and a voice that needs a lie down.
FAQs
Who is singing?
Lotti Rem, live and all afternoon, working through the best of the 80s and 90s.
What are we painting?
The Red Peacock: a blue bird with serious attitude, a blazing red sky and a sweep of green and gold feathers. Fancy a pink peacock or a different sky? Ask your host on the day and we will switch the colours at no extra cost.
Do I have to sing?
Nobody will make you. Lotti tends to change your mind by the second chorus.
What time does it finish?
We start painting at 1pm and you are done by 4pm, up to 3 hours all up.
I have never painted. Will I cope?
Easily. The peacock comes together in a few simple stages and the feathers are fast, loose flicks, so complete beginners end up with a canvas worth hanging.
Is it good for a birthday or hens?
Made for it. Pop the guest of honour's name in the checkout notes and we will give them a shout out on the day.
Can I come by myself?
Absolutely. Plenty of guests book solo, and we will seat you with a friendly bunch.
We are booking separately. Can we sit together?
Yes. Put your group name in the checkout notes and we will seat you side by side.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No BYO. Quakers Inn has a bistro and bar on site.
How do I get there?
Quakers Inn is at 7 Nirimba Dr, Quakers Hill, a few minutes' walk from Quakers Hill station.
Can we book a private session instead?
Yes. Private sessions are $700 AUD flat for the first 10 guests and $65 per additional guest, with a minimum of 10 paid guests. Send us the details and we will sort a date.
Where do I buy tickets?
Here on the Paint Juicy website. Tickets are online only and are not sold at the door.
