Palm-Lined Coastal Walk Behind Club Wyndham, Mission Beach

Mission Beach really knows how to do a shoreline stroll. Tucked just behind Club Wyndham is a public-access sandy path that runs so close to the water you can hear the waves keeping time. It is shaded by palms, friendly on the feet and perfect for a lazy wander between snacks and naps.

Mission Beach

How we did it

We parked on Seaview Street, clipped the leads and followed the path south. Within a few steps the palms opened up to ocean glimpses and that warm tropical air did the rest. The track is flat with a soft, sandy top, so it is kind to knees and excellent for slow, nose-to-the-ground exploring.

Beagle on Mission Beach Walk

Beagle report

Penelope and Bert were in their element, trotting the palm tunnel like they owned the joint. Plenty to sniff, gentle sea breezes for ear flaps and shaded pauses for water breaks. It is the kind of walk where the humans get views while the pups get a full sensory buffet.
