Charleville does not need a paint and sip excuse

Out here in South West Queensland, where the Warrego runs and the Mulga country stretches in every direction, the bar for a proper night out is high. Charleville locals already have the Bilby Experience, the Cosmos Centre, the Royal Hotel, the historic Charleville Hotel, and a community that knows how to gather when the time is right. Paint Juicy in Charleville does not try to compete with any of that. It joins it. We roll into town on tour, set up at a partner venue, and run the kind of singalong-fuelled paint session that gives the locals an excuse to bring the whole crew out for a night that nobody planned to have but everyone remembers.

Outback rooms hit a different energy at a Paint Juicy session. Distance brings people together. The drive in from Cunnamulla, Augathella, Quilpie, Tambo, Morven or out from a station means everyone has made an effort to be there, and the room knows it. The singalong is louder. The laughs land harder. The night runs longer.

What is in a Charleville session

• An artist running the show live, mic in hand, leading the whole room start to finish
• All gear poured, set and ready when you arrive (paint, brushes, easel, canvas, apron)
• A playlist tuned to the night, whether the theme leans 80s, 90s or Aussie Rock
• Up to 3 hours of laughs and singalongs that hit different out west
• One canvas to take home, whether home is the homestead, the dongas or the pub
• Our team rolls in, sets up the room, runs the night and packs it all out
• A Charleville partner venue with the bar and the food side covered

Hens parties, milestone birthdays and station get-togethers

Out here, hens parties and milestone birthdays often mean the whole region gets in their car and drives. The friend who lives in Brisbane flies into Charleville Airport. The cousin from Roma drives down. The crew from a station three hours out makes the trip in for the night and stays at the pub. Paint Juicy is the activity that makes the trip worth it. Lock in a private booking, get everyone in the same room, and run a Paint Juicy session as the headline event for the weekend. We come to your Charleville pub, your local club, your community hall or your homestead if there is power and a roof.

When does Paint Juicy come back to Charleville?

Charleville runs on a rotating outback Queensland tour schedule that connects up with Mt Isa, Longreach, Roma, Cunnamulla and the wider South West and Central West. Some months there is a public session on the calendar. Some months we are between dates and the next one is in planning. Public sessions in outback towns sell out fast because the room is small and the appetite is real. The newsletter is the fastest way to be first in line for the next Charleville date.

A private booking is the way to lock in your own date if you cannot wait. $700 flat for the first 10 guests, $65 per guest after that, minimum 10 paid seats. We come to you.

Can station hands and locals bring the whole crew?
