An engagement party paint and sip is the celebration your couple actually want, not the one their aunties think they should have. No formal dinner with five speeches and a seating chart. Paint Juicy has run private paint and sip engagement parties for groups of 15 through to groups of 50 plus. The format scales and the energy holds together at any size. We have hosted mixed-gender engagement parties, women-only engagement parties and quiet daytime family versions. The format reads the room and adapts.

Lock In Your Booking

Submit an enquiry with your date, guest count, preferred location and any add-ons you want included. We confirm availability, lock in your artist, send a booking summary and share everything your group needs before the day. No chasing, no guest list spreadsheets, no last-minute confusion about what is happening.

We Handle the Setup

Paint Juicy arrives early and sets up every canvas, easel, paint palette, brush kit and apron before your first guest walks in. The venue is ready to go. Tables are laid out, the playlist is running low in the background, and everything is exactly where it needs to be. You show up, your people show up, and the event starts.

The Session Runs Itself

Your artist hosts the whole event on mic, guiding every step of the painting so nobody gets lost or left behind. Singalong breaks, games and cheeky moments are woven in between paint layers so the energy never drops and nobody is left staring at a drying canvas. No painting experience needed and no pressure to be any good at it.

Take Home Your Canvas

Every guest leaves with a finished painting they actually want to hang up, plus the photos and group memories that come with it. We pack everything down once the session wraps, clear the space and leave it how we found it. The organiser does not lift a finger. That is the whole idea.

How Much Does a Engagement Party Paint and Sip Cost?

Private engagement party paint and sip bookings run on a flat rate for the first ten guests, with a simple per-person rate after that. No venue hire on top of us. No hidden charges for setup, breakdown or the host. What you see is what you pay.

First 10 Guests

$700

Flat rate covers the full session, all equipment, full setup and pack down, and your hosted artist for the event. Minimum booking is 10 paid seats.

Each Additional Guest

$65

Per person after your first 10. Scales simply as your group grows, whether that is 15 guests or 50. Add-ons are quoted separately.

Groups smaller than 10 are welcome to join a public paint and sip session near you instead of booking privately. Public sessions start from $59 per person. Want to give the experience as a gift? Gift cards are available here. Custom artwork incurs an additional quoted fee.

How many guests do we need for a private engagement party?

The minimum for a private booking is 10 paid guests. Smaller groups are welcome to join a public paint and sip session across QLD, NSW and NT. Your group still sits together and still has a brilliant night.

Is an engagement party paint and sip mixed gender?

Most are, yes. Paint Juicy engagement parties work beautifully as a mixed-gender event because the format gives every guest something to do. That said, plenty of couples run a women-only engagement party and save the mixed celebration for the wedding. Both work.

Can we add a speech or toast moment?

Yes. The 3 hour Party Plus format has clear breaks built in where a parent, best mate or the couple themselves can give a speech. Your artist hosts the transitions on mic so it lands naturally rather than feeling tacked on.

Do guests need painting experience?

Zero. The artist guides every step on mic. Engagement parties often have guests who have never painted before and every single guest leaves shocked at what they made. Our easy painting guides show the kind of results to expect.

Can we pick a custom painting for the couple?

Yes, with a custom artwork fee quoted on enquiry. Popular choices include the couple's engagement location, the first-date city, a shared favourite view, or a design connected to the couple's story. Get in touch with the brief and we will quote it.
