How Much Does a 40th Birthday Paint and Sip Cost?
Private 40th birthday paint and sip bookings run on a flat rate for the first ten guests, with a simple per-person rate after that. No venue hire on top of us. No hidden charges for setup, breakdown or the host. What you see is what you pay.
First 10 Guests
Flat rate covers the full session, all equipment, full setup and pack down, and your hosted artist for the event. Minimum booking is 10 paid seats.
Each Additional Guest
Per person after your first 10. Scales simply as your group grows, whether that is 15 guests or 50. Add-ons are quoted separately.
Groups smaller than 10 are welcome to join a public paint and sip session near you instead of booking privately. Public sessions start from $59 per person. Want to give the experience as a gift? Gift cards are available here. Custom artwork incurs an additional quoted fee.

How many guests do we need for a private 40th?
The minimum for a private booking is 10 paid guests. If your group is smaller than 10, join one of our public sessions across QLD, NSW and NT. Your crew still sits together and still has a big night.
What is the typical crowd size for a 40th paint and sip?
Most 40th sessions run between 12 and 30 guests. Big enough to feel like a proper event, small enough to keep the group feeling like a group. We have hosted 40ths as big as 60 guests and the format still holds together because the artist runs the whole night on mic.
Can we pick a cheeky custom painting for a 40th?
Yes, with a custom artwork fee quoted on enquiry. Plenty of 40th groups go in on an inside-joke design or something that reads as a dig at the birthday person. Our artists can work a brief into a canvas everyone in the room can actually paint.
Do guests need painting experience?
Zero. The artist guides every step on mic. Most 40th groups have exactly zero painters in them and everyone walks out shocked at what they made. Our easy painting guides show the kind of results to expect.
Can we add a bottomless drinks package?
