The pacing shifts to suit. We have run private paint and sip sessions where the guest of honour's painting was printed as a card for the entire extended family to keep. The canvas is not the main point of a 70th, but it is a really lovely thing to go home with.

Paint Juicy arrives early and sets up every canvas, easel, paint palette, brush kit and apron before your first guest walks in. The venue is ready to go. Your artist hosts the whole event on mic, guiding every step of the painting so nobody gets lost or left behind. Works for smaller family 70ths where the energy is tighter and the venue is intimate. Two hours of painting, gentle singalongs and group moments.
The preferred format for most 70ths. Longer breaks, warmer pacing, room for speeches, cake, old photos, grandkids reading out cards. Book this if the whole family is coming.
How Much Does a 70th Birthday Paint and Sip Cost?
Private 70th birthday paint and sip bookings run on a flat rate for the first ten guests, with a simple per-person rate after that. No venue hire on top of us. No hidden charges for setup, breakdown or the host. What you see is what you pay.
First 10 Guests
Flat rate covers the full session, all equipment, full setup and pack down, and your hosted artist for the event. Minimum booking is 10 paid seats.
Each Additional Guest
Per person after your first 10. Scales simply as your group grows, whether that is 15 guests or 50. Add-ons are quoted separately.
Groups smaller than 10 are welcome to join a public paint and sip session near you instead of booking privately. Public sessions start from $59 per person. Want to give the experience as a gift? Gift cards are available here. Custom artwork incurs an additional quoted fee.

How many guests do we need for a private 70th?
The minimum for a private booking is 10 paid guests. Smaller groups are welcome to join a public paint and sip session across QLD, NSW and NT. Your group still sits together and still has a lovely time.
Can grandchildren attend a 70th paint and sip?
Yes. Paint Juicy runs 12 plus sessions with a paying guardian present at all times. That means grandkids, nieces and nephews can be part of grandma or grandpa's 70th. The age icon on this page is a birthday cake for that reason. Nude life drawing and bottomless sessions are strict 18 plus. Mention the ages when you enquire.
Is the pace suitable for older guests?
The format adapts. For a 70th we typically recommend the 3 hour Party Plus format with longer breaks between painting steps, softer music in the guided sections and louder singalong moments between. Your artist reads the room on the night and adjusts the tempo as the session runs.
Can we pick a meaningful custom painting?
Yes, with a custom artwork fee quoted on enquiry. 70ths often go for a painting connected to a special place, a pet, a garden, a view or a symbol meaningful to the guest of honour. Get in touch with the brief and we will quote it.
Can we do a daytime session instead of evening?
Daytime suits 70ths brilliantly. Natural light is kinder, guests drive home safely and grandkids can easily be part of the event. We run daytime sessions every day of the week where venues allow. Mention your preferred time when you enquire.
